The Card Game

"I wonder..."
He looked at her card.
"But hopefully it's a good thing to have high numbers with hearts. But with the Villain you can never be too sure on anything, I guess."

''yes. Sometimes the lowest number could be your death''
she looked too the card turning it around.
''or the highest number''

"Yeah, we won't know until it's over. I just hope it ends well..." he said has he looked in the direction of Ariel and Kida.
- ... at least for her. Why does she have to be in this place anyway.
"I wonder how long we'll have to wait to find out," he said with a sad smile.

''maby the villian keeps us like this until some people get crazy and the villian will just watch them suffer''
she said. Her tone was cold.

[OOC; I had school.. then i sort of feel asleep at 3 and only just woke up.. oops :3 So what do we do excatly? Just draw our cards ?]

[Yep the same card you got in the tasks section ]

"It wouldn't surprise me. That man is crazy. But I really hope you are wrong."

she sighed.
''i hope so..'' she looked up too the roof.
''well atleast we could just sit back and talk maby it won't be so hard.'' she smiled.
''Maby we could make it some what happier. We could just make music and sing and dance. just party until some one dies''

Dimitri woke up to hear voices of other people. He looked around and saw some people awake, whilst others were still asleep on the floor like he had been. It was dark, even though there were candles, but he couldn't make out all the faces of people still asleep.
He recognised Kida, and the red head must have been Ariel she had talked about, and the man from the dinner party was there too. But apart from that he didn't know any of the faces. He wondered if Jane, or Lilo, or Odette were here.

He stood up... there was a collar around his neck.
'So what's going on?' he murmered to the people around him.


[OOC: btw if anyones read/ seen battle royale these collars remind me of them, except they made your head explode xD

Anya turned towards the now awake man. You're supposed to draw a card, she said pointing to the table, I assume it's the higher the card the better

'Ok' he said, turning to the table. 'Wish me luck...'

He drew a card.. Ace of Spades.
'Is this good?' The Ace could be the highest card or the lowest.
Depending on what was better Dimitri was either dead or safe.

Anya sighed, "I'm not sure... I guess we'll have to wait to find out, I'm Anya by the way." She held out her hand to shake

Sinbad couldn't help but laugh at Jasmine's comment.
"Yeah, that could be.... fun."
He stopped laughing and continued.
"But I think we should just go with the talking for now. Unless you are in the mood for partying," he joked. "I'm sure we could find someone who'd sing."

she smiled once he started laughing.
''see, We could atleast have some fun you know! Otherwise you would die all depressed.''
she laughed. ''i am sure someone could sing here.'' She looked arround. ''Not sure if the others are n a party mood though''
she joked.

'Pleased to meet you ..' he said, shaking her hand.
'So what card did you draw?'

"King of Spades, which I think is good, It's just that yours can go either way, an Ace can be high or low it depends on the game."

'I know.. lucky me' Dimitri sighed.
'Shame we have to meet under these circumstances... I didn't see you at the Dinner Party. Have you had many roommates?'

"That's true. There is no point in being depressed all the time. Better enjoy yourself if you have the chance."
He liked the way Jasmine's mind worked.
"Ariel, the red-head over there, told me she likes to sing. Maybe she'd be up for it," he joked. Though he actually really wanted to hear her sing.

''well maby i should just ask her? '' she smiled and stood up.
walking too ariel. ''ehm excuse me? can i ask you something.''

"No, wait.." he said, but too late.
He had already ruined things between Ariel and Kida once. He didn't want to do it again. They deserved to be happy, and they seemed happy together. And yet there was a part of him that didn't want them to be together.
So he just stood up and followed Jasmine.

Ariel turned around

"Oh..oh hi, what can I do for you? I'm Ariel"

''hi i am Jasmine'' she smiled.
''Well me and sinbad were talking about just have some fun and not being depressed all the time.
and he told me you liked too sing. So my question was if you would like too start the party mood and sing for us''
she smiled brightley

Dimitri wrote:

"Yes I wasn't there, and I've only had two roomates, Eric, and Fagin," She said pointing to the man across the room

Ariel smiled

"No one has ever asked me to sing before"

"Of course I will sing"

'Oh I met Eric... was a bit awkward. Spent most of the time trying to fight him off when Esme found out he'd tried to kill her.. then they turned out to be siblings. It was quite a hectic night..' He smiled. 'I'm guessing you already know what Eric does.. but he seemed to be better than my first judgements. I'm Dimitri by the way.'
He looked over at Fagin ... 'That guy looks like hes just been picked off the streets. I'm guessing we come from all sorts of places.'

"Wow, you have a wonderful voice," Sinbad exclaimed as soon as she was done singing.

Anya laughed, you have no idea. "Yes I know what Eric does, and we've come to terms with that, but I didn't know he had a sister, and yes Fagin was homeless before the villain brought him here."

she listen and couldn't believe it. ''your voice is really beautifull! You must be kidnapped because you have such a beautifull voice!''

Ariel blushed

"Thank you guys, I love to sing, I really do. I want to be a singer when I leave here, get a career"

Anya's ears perked up at Ariel's words. "Really, you want to be a singer? if you're interested I have a manager that may be able to help you."

"I'm sure you can do that," he said with a smile.
- with a voice like yours, I bet the hardest part will be to get out of here. But that doesn't really seem easy anyway.
"So what have you two been doing while we've been in here?" he asked carefully. Not sure if he really wanted to hear the answer. But still, he wanted to know if he should expect more slaps from Kida.

"A manager? Really? That would be awesome"

Ariel ran over and hugged Sinbad

"When do we go back to the room? We didn't finish what we started" Ariel whispered in Sinbad's ear

She smiled. Looking too the other girl (Anya) "a manger that really sounds awesome what kind of job do you do?"

He was surprised when Ariel ran to him and hugged him. But in a good way. A really good way.
He held her tight and whispered in her ear. "Soon, sweetie." - ... that is at least what I hope.

Anya flushed embarassed, "Umm an acting/modeling thing. I'm not sure if he represnets singers but I can ask when I get out."

(OOC: i gotta go it is very late goodnight everybody!)

Ariel giggled quietly

She jumped down from Sinbad's arms

"When are we going to get out of here, its boring"

Kida looked at Ariel and Sinbad.
They look so great together... She looks so happy when she's with him... I... I don't want to come between them just because I loved her first...

"You know I'd love to get back to the room with you," he said as he kissed her cheek. "But it's the Villain who controls that. So in the meantime why don't we have fun here, with some of the other people?"

When Eric opened eyes, he known that it was not go. The danger. As embodied.
He looked around him. Persons that he had seen in the dinner. Unknown persons.
And Anya.
-Anya! Are you well?! Are you okay?!
Don't care of the proximity-danger relation. Don't care of Villain. Screw Villain.

She smiled at Eric, "I'm fine."

Eric came to her, closely. Kissed her front. Tooke his arm on her shoulder.
-Ok, murmured he.
Quickly he looked the other. He recognized one.
-Dimitri?

Dimitri heard his name being called... 'Eric, right?' he said, offering a handshake.
'Again sorry for how I acted at the dinner party. You talked to Esme since?'

Anya always near him, he shook hands of Dimitri.
- Niceto see again you, alive. Don't worry, your reaction was natural and logical. I was able to speak to her about our parents, about our family. Of what we would have been able to have. And you? Jane?

'I was in a room with her.. but she went, and I don't really know whats happened.' It was obvious he was worried but he didn't let it ruin the conversation. 'Now we're here- playing another of the Villain's games. Have you taken a card yet?'

-Card? he says.
He looked around him.
-Wait, is it another fuckin' game?!
His arm approched Anya from him, closesly.

"'Fraid so... something to do with the collars around our necks"

Eric touched his neck. A collard was around. Touched it, he realised what is it. Looked Anya.
-Oh my....

{ OOC: I have to be ready for work in 6-7 hours, so I will try to get some sleep now. But feel free to play around with Sinbad if you please. }

Anya looked up at him, "go on and pick a card, I'll be right here."
