The Card Game

"Yep, all on my left thigh. I am surprised you never noticed them before"

Ariel pulled her skirt down and turned away

"Please leave me alone now, you think I am disgusting and horrible and a freak"

He kept staring at her as she turned away.
After a while he opened his mouth to say something.
"That's not it. I'm just... confused..."

"Confused, how are you confused?"

"You are a mermaid... Or used to be... Or... I don't know..." He sighed lightly. "How can you be a mermaid?"

"Its hard to explain"

"Basically, I was born a mermaid, but at the age of 15 we change, we can become human with special magic shit or stay a mermaid, forever. I choose human, had to kill a little girl to get the magic, easy to understand"

"So now you are like a real human or what?"

"Yep I am a real human now, and I will be for the rest of my life"

"uhuh" he said and nodded slowly.
He wasn't sure if he really understood it. He wasn't even sure if he really believed it.
It didn't feel real. He couldn't be... not with a mermaid...
"Why did you choose to become human?"

"I was going to be human for Kayley, but she died and I wanted to be a human, so yeah"

"I have a picture of me and Kayley, me as a mermaid"

Ariel pulled out a picture of her shirt pocket and handed it to Sinbad....there is was Ariel's tail on full display, Kayley on Ariel's lap, but it was there

(OOC: I would someone to draw this for me, I could use it in a video)

Sinbad looked at the picture. Then back at Ariel. He tried to picture her with the tail on. It didn't seem quite right in his mind. He looked at the picture again.
"A tail... It's unbelievable," he whispered as he let his finger trail the tail. Then he looked at the other girl on the picture. "So that's Kayley..."
He studied the picture for a while. They looked happy together.
"Well... I'm glad that you became human," he said as he handed the picture back.

(OOC: i am randomly jumping in again xD i can draw that for you if you like but would you like it in colour or just black and white like an old picture?)

"Yeah that was Kayley, she was beautiful wasn't she?"

Ariel took the picture back

"Why are you glad I became human? Is it cause you wouldn't of met me?"

(OOC: Oh my god would you really do that for me? Oh thank you. I guess in colour cause then I can hange the colour in sony)

(OOC: The drawing won't be difficult . Kayly is a human right? Though i am not so good at painting pictures profesional but i'll do my best )

He smiled at her.
"Yeah..."
He looked around. "Though I really wouldn't have minded meeting you somewhere else. But there's not really much to do about that.."

"Yeah, what can I say though. If I hadn't got kidnapped, I would have never met Kida or you, I was a virgin when I came in here."

"Really? You were? Well, I guess a lot of things have changed while we've been in here. I wonder how long it's been."

"Yeah its hard to believe, a virgin yeah"

His eyes crossed her legs.
"Uhm... how does a mermaid do it, anyway? I mean, with the fish tail and such..."

'I ..' she paused, looking away as the words that she had wanted to say ever since she was a kid suddenly tumbled out of her mouth, 'I love you, Dimitri .. I always have ..'

She turned back to him and quickly added, 'I'm sorry, I know you would never feel the same way. I mean look at me, I'm just damaged goods right .. my father made sure of that ..' she smiled as fresh tears fell, 'I'm not good enough for anyone .. let alone someone as sweet and kind as you. But I don't want to die in this place, regretting never having told you that ..' she looked him in the eyes for a moment before moving away from him a little, 'I'm sorry ..' she whispered as she started to stand up.

"They don't, they can't, they don't have pussies and dicks so it doesn't work, so no sex"

ariel giggled

"Wow, really? I don't think I'd be able to live my life like that."
He thought about it for a little while.
"Nope, definitely not..."

"What other differences are there between humans and mermaids? Being half fish, does that mean you can talk to fish?" he asked a little excited.

"Yeah I can, fish, dolphin, all see creatures, and also i know for a fact, if you came with me to the sea and came in the water all i would need to do is blow in your mouth very softly an you would be able to breath and see underwater "

"That sounds really cool... But does that also work, now that you are a human?"

"Yeah it would still work, even though I have legs, still got the mermaid magic, look i'll show you"

Ariel blew on her hand, and water appeared on it, she then clicked and it turned into ice

He starred shocked at her hand.
He moved closer and lightly tapped the ice in her hand.
"It's really ice," he said shocked. "And the water was just suddenly there... I would never have guessed you could do crazy shit like that," he said as he turned his head and looked at her. "You are really full of surprises."

OOC: Just going to say, Ariel was a mermaid in my audition, so its not just some odd thing going on here

"Hey," Sinbad exclaimed as he suddenly got an idea.
"Why don't you put that ice on your rib to help ease the pain?"

"Well don't you need heat first then cold, mermaid can't produce fire, we are like pokemon really"

"Well, I really don't know much about this stuff. Maybe it'd be better to ask someone for help." He began to stand up.

"Ask jasmine or dimitri cause they helped me last night"

"Yeah..." he said as he looked around. Dimitri and Odette were sitting together, talking. He didn't want to disturb them. Instead he looked for Jasmine.
"I'll be right back," he said before he walked towards Jasmine.
"Hey Jasmine. Do you by any chance know what we should do about Ariel's broken rib? Will some ice help? Or will it be better with some heat?"

[OOC: Well we're definately going to have drama now ... :') -doesn'tknowwhattodo- Might as well be realistic.. even if i feel guilty for Jane at this present moment!]

As Odette started to pull away Dimitri held onto her hand.
'You.. you love me?' he said, in shock. He sat in silence, refusing to not let go of her hand as he tried to fully digest what he'd just be told.

'But.. but you..' Dimitri was dumstruck. He'd spent years imagining those words being spoken by her, and even longer trying to find the right time to say them back to her. And then when he'd finally realised that it was pointless.. even decided to move on.. she had to show up and say this.

'Why, why didn't you tell me sooner? Everythings different now- we're here....' he mumbled. He pulled her back... 'Odette.. I..'
No he needed to say this- like she said, if he died here then he'd just regret it... and his life was already made up of too many regrets. 'Don't ever say you aren't good enough. You were always above and beyond good enough... I always tried to put words together... to say what I mean. But I ended up doing childish, stupid things instead because I was too afraid... You are amazing... I just never could say it. Because I convinced myself that you couldn't... and now I don't know what to do.' He let go of her hand, covering his face with his hands. 'If you don't know by now what I'm trying to say...'

[ OOC: Yaay for the drama I know what you mean though, I feel sorry for everyone 'cause they're all going to get heartbroken at some point ]

She couldn't help but smile a little when he grabbed hold of her hand.

'I do and I have ever since we were kids,' she said as she turned to face him again, 'I know I should have said something sooner and I was going to tell you that night we were going to leave together, but I never got the chance ..'

Odette dropped down to her knees in front of Dimitri and removed his hands from his face, gently placing her own hand on his cheek.

'I'm so sorry,' she said as she looked into his eyes, feeling herself getting teary-eyed again, 'I shouldn't be saying any of this .. if there's already someone in your life then .. I .. I'd understand ..' her voice grew softer as her face drew slowly closer to his.

[OOC: Yes we all end up hearbroken ... so i might as well get this over with and let the heartbreaking commence 8D
I am trying to justify myself by saying that this is the most realistic thing that would happen if you've loved someone for yeaaarsss.. meh i'm tired.]

As she started apoligising he realised she'd taken his whole speech the wrong way.
'Odette I love you..' he blurted out... 'I've just spent so long convincing myself you'd never love me back...' He closed his eyes, resting himself on the hand she'd placed on his cheek.

[ OOC: I so can't wait to see what drama this causes later on when they're back in their rooms :'3 ]

'You do?' she said softly as her eyes widened in surprise. She'd heard those words so many times from her clients, but never from someone that she felt truly meant it.

'You're such an idiot ..' she couldn't help but laugh as tears started to fall again, although for once they weren't from sadness, 'we both are ..' she whispered in his ear before kissing him gently on the cheek.

ooc: ahhhh noooo what about Jane!! Dimi!! how could you *cries* lol

jasmine looked up at sinbad. ''ice?'' she took a look at ariel. ''maby it is better if you don't do that. i am not sure but ice can be too heavy. But i am not sure i am not a doctor''

"Okay, then we'll just let it be. By the way, thank you for helping out earlier," He said and smiled at her.
He looked back at Ariel.
"I'll go tell her to put the ice away again."

[OOC: I honestly feel bad... but i'm going to expain about Jane now!! .. and how he can't.. yeah you'll read it in a sec anyway xD
@Jane- Hmm poor Dimitri... he'll probably guilt trip himself into thinking its his fault cause he left her and blah blah... Dimitri's life's going to be fun for the next few weeks >8D]

'But...' he said.. 'now theres Jane.. And I don't know where she is but I promised her we'd get out of here, and I can't break another promise to someone. Shes already been hurt.. I'm not hurting her too.'
He looked away.. 'I'm sorry, but I need to think things through for now.... its been so long.. I don't know.'

She smiled back . ''No problem, Does she has a lot of pain?''

"Well, she hasn't mentioned anything about it for a while. But I'm just worried about her. I feel like I should have been more careful. Then none of this would have happened."

'' i am sure it wasn't your fault. She is still alive so i am sure you tried everything.''

"Yeah, she's still alive. And that is the most important thing right now. What about him," he said as he looked at Fagin. "Do you think he'll wake up again while we are down here?"

She moved her head looking too the man. "Depense on how hard you hit him. old people cannot handle much" she smiled and looked back at sinbad. "When they fall they could break all their bones"

Ariel went behind Sinbad and whispered in his ear


"Do you promise not to tell anyone? My life could be at risk if other people knew about me"

She sat on her knees and smiled

she blew a little bubble on his cheek and it popped

she giggled and smiled like a little school girl

"I kinda hope he is alright. But I wouldn't mind if he stays unconscious while we are here." He didn't want to think of what could happen if he woke up here again.
As Ariel came up behind him, he turned his head a bit.
"I promise. I won't tell anyone."
He giggled by the surprise of the bubble against his cheek.

OOC: sorry for the late reply you two.

She giggled

"I can't do more than just make water, ice and bubbles you know....oh yeah and that thing with humans and keeping them alive under water"

She moved to Sinbad's lap and sat on it

"Here look"

She drew on Sinbad's hand, with her finger, a little heart

it turned into a little stone, shaped like a heart

"That there is for you"

She turned her head around and looked at his face and whispered quite quietly

"I love you Sinbad"

''maby..'' she turned her head too look at sinbad but suddenly ariel was there.
okee.... erhm akward.....
''i'll ... err...go now'' she stood up and walked away.
