The Card Game

Sinbad, Fagin, Ariel, Eric, Tulio, Dimitri, Odette, Anya, Kida and Jasmine woke up on a cold stone floor. The room was extremely dark, except from 4 candlelights put in each corner of the room and 1 candlelight on top of a small wooden table. The same table that was used during the Russian Roulette, except now, instead of a revolver, a deck of cards lied on the table along with the list of rules. Everyone wore electric collars around their neck, and according to the list of rules these could easily kill anyone in the room by a push of a button. Now, they had to draw a card each.

Tulio couldn't handle the tension. He quickly drew a card to see if it was low or high. 6 of hearts... that was ok right? Not good, but not bad either. It was good enough to keep him alive... right?

When Sinbad woke up he first thought he was still in room 8. But even though the floor was similar, he soon realized that it wasn't. And he had a weird collar around his neck.
- One of the Villain's sick games, I suppose, he thought to himself.
He looked around and saw an awful lot of other people. He remembered he had seen some of them at the dinner party. He saw Ariel. He wanted to go to her, until he saw Kida. It was probbly best just to walk to the table in the middle.
There were also some people he hadn't seen before.
Then he noticed that the first person to draw a card was Tulio. The guy Aurora and Chel knew.
After him Sinbad drew a card as well.
"10 of hearts?"

Well better get it over with. Anya let out a shaky breath she slowly walked over and drew a card. king of spades? was that good? she hoped so

Jasmine slowly woke up. She remembered she fell asleep but as she looked arround she saw alot of different people.
Omg where am i? she looked arround. and saw an table. she walked over too the table. a card game she drew the jack of hearts. she bit her lip.

Kida woke up with a start. She saw the others draw their cards. She went over to the table and drew the king of hearts. After drawing the card she felt her metal collar. She had one of the highest cards. She walked over to Sinbad and slapped him. then she went back to the corner she woke up in and sat down, wondering who would be the one of them to die.

(Fagin realized there was no way out so he went over to the table and drew a card)

may Jenny watch over me

(He looked at the card it was Jack of spades. closed eyes he laid it on his heart and started muttering to himself)

Sinbad was nervous. He had no idea what was going on with this game.
It seemed like it was te same with everyone. Noone really know what would happen. But he probably wasn't the only one who feared the worst.
He carefully watched the table, without really looking. Just caught up in his own thoughts.
But he came back to consciousness when he felt the slap on his face.
He turned around and looked after her, but as he did that he bumped into another man (Fagin).
Sinbad didn't pay attention to him, until the man fell to the floor. Sinbad turned around and looked down at him.
"Hey, sorry old man."

Anya looked around the room with surprise she didn't know anyone else except for, Eric. She let out a nervous breath she hoped he would be ok. She saw a girl slap a tall man. Huh, wonder what's going on there? Then she noticed Fagin, she tensed up a little she still didn't trust him, but when she saw him fall down, she felt bad so she bent down to help him up. "Are you ok Fagin?"

yes I'm fine thank you my child

(He relaxed walked over to Sinbad)

NEVER! disturb my prayer! may Jenny`s anger hit they (he said to himself)

Sinbad looked confused at the man in front of him.
"Uhm, yeah," he said as he rolled his eyes.
He clapped him on the shoulder. "I said I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bumb into you. But I have to talk to someone over there,"
he said as he looked in Kida's direction.
- .. and you freak me out, so I don't mind getting away from you, he thought to himself.
"So if you'll excuse me..."

(Fagin jumps sinbad and threw him into the floor)

Kida looked at everyone in the room. She had seen some of them in the dinner party, but the ones that she knew where Dimitri, Ariel, and Sinbad. She saw as others went and drew cards. Ariel hadn't taken a card yet... What if she was the one who died? What if Dimitri was the one who died? What if it was Sinbad? She couldn't stand the thought of anyone she knew dying. She wouldn't be able to cope if any one of them died in front of her eyes. Kida had killed before, it wasn't something new to her. To see somebody being shocked to death by a metal collar was different. It was scary to know that at any moment somebody could drop dead.

"Whoa!!" Sinbad exclaimed surprised as the man suddenly jumped him and they fell to the floor.
He rolled over and pushed the man of him.
"What the fuck did you do that for?"

(Fagin grabbed his jacket and forced him to the wall)

You have insulted Jenny. I must protect her honor, now beg her for forgiveness

Sinbad looked at the man. Who was this Jenny he kept talking about? And what was this wild look in his eyes?
Sinbad sighed.
- Keep calm... Just keep calm... There is no point in this...
"Look... I don't want to fight, okay? I'm sorry I bumbed into you. Could you please let go of my jacket?"
- ... and that better be soon.

Jadmine turned around an saw the old man attack an other man. Instead that the villian kills us we are gonna hurt each other?
She shaked her head. "Instead of beating each other we should be nice, any moment something can happen. Maby some one will die so atleast we can try and be nice too each other" she said as she looked too the others in the room.

Anya sighed, and looked at Fagin who attacked the man. An idea came to her, it was either going to work or get her attacked but she might as well try. "Fagin, would Jenny want you to hurt an innocent man? He apologized and I think Jenny would want you to be the better person and forgive him."

{OOC: Oh shit sorry guys, was at school. We have to pull out the card we were assigned right?}

Ariel stood on her own in the corner of the room, she didn't know anyone apart from Sinbad and Kida. She was so confused, she hadn't seen Kida in ages, and Kida didn't know about Sinbad. Ariel wasn't happy to see Kida, she was happy to see Sinbad though. She walked over to him and grabbed his hand.

"Sinbad, I'm scared. I don't want to die" she cried, a little tear rolled down her cheek

Kida looked at Ariel as she passed right by her and went to Sinbad.
'So that's how it is? It's alright... It doesn't matter...'
Kida's heart broke into a million pieces. Ariel didn't love her anymore. It was ok, everything would be alright... As long as Ariel was happy. nothing mattered. Kida let one tear fall down her cheek.

Ariel saw Kida was upset, she let go of Sinbad's hand and walked over to her

"Kida, I am sorry, for everything. I just want to let you know, I do still love you...the feelings haven't gone, its just so hard. But it is great to see you"

Ariel tried to reach out for Kida's hand

Sinbad sighed.
"Fine, fine. I'm sorry Jenny, or whatever," he said resigned. He was tired of this man, but he wasn't in the mood for starting a fight.
The man let go of his jacket.
Shortly after Ariel came and grabbed his hand.
"Hey, it's gonna be alright okay?"
Then he watched her walking over to Kida.

{OOC: Oh well Ariel is over with Kida now, trying to say sorry}

She rolled her eyes and sat against the wall. Fine than just ignore me. She thought.
Closing her eyes. Why would anybody listen too me? She covered her face with her hands.
Nobody would listen if i could just be free. Everything would be better. She thought.

Kida pulled her hand away from Ariel's reach. "Did you know... That I nearly got raped while you were off having sex with Sinbad? I saw it on the television, I heard what you said..." Kida said, tears coming to the edge of her eyes. She wouldn't cry. Not here, in front of all these people. "I still love you, it hurts so much, but it's true... I just want you to be happy... Even if I'm not part of the picture..."

{OOC: Ariel's and Sinbad's sex wasn't shown on the TV though, was it?}

{OOC: Oh I didn't even notice that, shit I should really notice things more often, just saw the broadcast}

Ariel held her hand with her other hand

"Kida, I don't know what to say. I...I...well I guess its over then?"

Ariel started to tear up

Sinbad noticed that one of the girls who interrupted walked away. He looked in Ariel's direction and saw that she was with Kida. Then he went over and sat beside the girl from before.
"Sorry for causing so much tumult before. You are right. This isn't the time to fight."

(OOC:@Sinbad do you mean me? xD)

she looked up looking at the boy. ''i am just sick of people fighting all the time.'' she sighed.
''why can't we be nice too eachother?'' she breath in ''sorry i don't want too sound like an drama queen''

Ariel decided she wanted to be on her own, she didn't deserve anyone anymore. She should be killed and left alone

she walked over to the table and picked up a card

nothing happened, she sighed with relief

she looked back at Kida and Sinbad, she then walked over to the corner and just sat on her own holding her knees

"Well, it is a bit weird situation we are in. I guess it affects people in different ways," he said and looked at her.
"Btw, I'm Sinbad. And you?"

"Only if you want it to be..." Kida said. Ariel had already picked a card and left. She knew she shouldn't cry... Why was it so hard to stop the tears from coming? She loved Ariel... she wanted Ariel to be happy... Why was it so hard to let her go? "I love you, and when you love someone, you set it free..." She said, in a barely whispered tone.
I don't want to set you free... I want you to stay with me. I love you... You used to love me too... I everything that we had a cruel joke? Did you plan on breaking my heart from the start? It's not fair... My heart is broken? My heart is broken.

''yes i guess, People are getting crazy once they are locked up.''
she looked too sinbad and smiled. ''my name is jasmine.''

"Nice to meet you, Jasmine," he said with a gentle smile.
He looked at the card in his hand.
"So... have you drawn a card yet?"

She looked too her card. ''yes i have.''
''i am not sure what will happen though.''

Oh fuck, I have made the worst mistake of my life, why did I say that. Why do I have feelings for Sinbad, I don't want to leave Kida, I love her. But I love Sinbad too, I know he would never love me back, I know he loves Meg.

Ariel got up and walked over Kida, she grabbed her hand and kissed her on the lips softly

"I don't want to loose you Kida. I am really sorry for everything, you don't deserve me, I am horrible person, and I have been horrible to you. I love you, please don't let me go"

Ariel started crying, tears rolling down her face

(Fagin look relieved over he apologized and let sinbad go. he then said to Anya)

- I really hope it won't hurt any of the persons I know. It would be best if... No, stop. It's a horrible thing to think about who you'd prefer to see dead. Think of something else.
He looked at Jasmine.
"Who else have you met in here, so far?"

she looked arround in the room. ''actually not so many''
''i have met, Cinderella. i shared a room with her.''
she looked too sinbad. ''than in the garden i met Aladdin and Odette. But we were in the garden for such a short time that we haven't really talked much.'' She sighed. ''and now i share a room with Isabella. A old friend of me''
looking too her card. ''but she cannot remember me''

"What?" Kida said surprised. Just moments before Ariel had walked away from her, now she was back? It didn't make sense...
"I love you too, ever since I met you... All I want is for you to be happy. If you're happy with me, then that's great. If you're happy with Sinbad or anyone else, I'd be happy for you... You haven't been horrible to me... You're the best thing that's happened in my life, you could never be horrible..."

"I don't know who Isabella or Odette is. But I was roomed with Aladdin for a long period. And Cinderella... well, I know her as well."
He didn't want to think of her. She didn't matter to him. She could do what she wanted with the Villain. And besides...
He looked in the direction of Ariel and Kida.
- I wonder what they are talking about. But it would probably just ruin it if I interfeared. I better just stay here for now.

Ariel looked at Kida

"I want to be with you...always"

That was all she needed to say

"I am really sorry Kida, for everything, everything I said or did. I am sorry"

She sighed

"Kida, I haven't seen you in ages. Its been hard, very hard"

''I guess i am ''new'' i don't know anybody in this room.''
so many people. Why did some one kidnap so many people?
''how long have you been here?''

"It's been hard for me too... I would never wish what happened to me these past few days on anyone..." Kida said. She hugged Ariel tightly.

{OOC: Odette is in the room }

"Well, I don't think you should be sad about that. Then you don't have to worry about anyone you know."
He thought about her question.
"To be honest I have no idea. I can't really keep track of time in here. A month, I think. Maybe two."

(OOC: Ooh god i forgot that )
''You know what would be nice? if the person who kidnaps us just gives us an clock or watch''
she smiled ''than atleast we know how long we have been kidnapped''

"Yeah, maybe," he said as he leaned his head back.
"But wouldn't it be a bit depressing to find out how much time we have spend in here?" he joked.

she grinned ''yes, maby not such a good idea though''
she looked too her card. ''what is this game the villian is playing with us?''
