Broken Hearted Smiles

"Mhm, yeah, it was fine," he said while looking elsewhere.
"But I miss the luxury of at least having a towel," he said jokingly as he played with a water drop on his arm.

"I wouldn't say that. You look quite good when you're wet," she said jokingly and nudged his arm while laughing.

"Uhm... T-thank you," he said flustered and blushed as he looked at her. "I could say the same thing about you."
-... But I shouldn't do that...
- ... You just did...
- ...
"So... are you hungry?" he said, knowing it was too obvious he was just trying to change the subject.

"Ehmm... sure," she said and eyed him suspiciously.
Seriously, what's going on with that guy?

"OKay," he said and got up. He went over to the door and picked up the plate with the bread on it. Then he walked back and sat down again.
"Let the feast begin," he said jokingly as he offered her the bread.

She sat down more comfortable, crossing her legs, not realizing that in doing so she revealed her underwear once again.
She took the bread and broke it in two. One piece was significantly larger than the other.
"Here," she said and smiled while handing him the bigger piece.
"I don't eat much anyway."
It was true, she usually got full surprisingly fast.

"Hmmm, okay, if you are sure about that," he said and took the bread.
- .... No wonder she is so thi.... he thought to himself as he looked at her. But his thoughts stopped as soon as he noticed her underwear was showing.
He quickly looked away.
"Y-you might want to sit in another p-position," he said before he quickly took another bite of the bread.

"Why?" she asked confused and looked at herself.
As soon as she realized how she was sitting she swapped positions blushing like a surise.
"S-sorry..." she said hesitantly.

"I-it's okay," he mumbled before he took another bite.
He continued to look elsewhere as he ate the last of the bread. He wasn't quite sure what to do with himself after that. When he had the bread he could at least focuse on eating. Or at least pretend that was what he focused on.

She ate her whole piece quickly, looking at Sinbad the whole time. She was desperate to know what was going on.
"Sinbad...?" she asked when she had finished her bread, seeing he had finished his as well.
"What's wrong?"
The same old confused puppy-look, with a puppy-voice to accompany it.

He looked at her when she spoke to him. He couldn't help but blush slightly when he saw the cute, confused look on her face.
- Wrong? Did I act weird or something?
"Uhm... W-what do you mean?"

"You're avoiding me..." she stated a tiny bit of hurt in her voice.
"Did I do something wrong?"

"N-no I'm not..."
Who was he trying to fool. He hadn't been doing anything else the entire day.
"You didn't do anything wrong," he sighed. "It's just... I have a girlfriend, and you are.... uhm... well." He could feel his head getting hotter. He just hoped it didn't show too much.
"... cute," he mumbled and looked down.

She blushed. Did he just call her cute? No one else had ever called her that before.
"Oh..." she said, mostly because she didn't know what else to say.
"It's okay," she said and smiled gently, trying to hide how flattered she was and how much she thought the same about him.
"As long as you don't do anything... she shouldn't mind that..." she looked down as well.
She was ashamed by the fact that even though she had just discouraged him from doing so, she wanted him to do something...

"I guess you are right," he mumbled. But the problem was that he was afraid he'd do something if he wasn't careful.
"I really didn't mean to avoid you... I'm sorry," he said and looked up at her.

"It's ok," she said and smiled.
Maybe you should.
She was starting to dry up, only her dress was still soaked.
She took it off leaving herself in only her underwear before she went to the bathroom and hang the dress over the edge of the bathtub to dry.
"Sorry," she said when she got back.
"But if that thing is ever going to dry..."

Sinbad looked surprised at her when she started taking of her dress.
"W-wha... What are you d-doing?" he mumbled in shock.
He watched her leave for the bathroom. When she was out of sight he looked now.
- Not now, damnit.
Why was she affecting him so much. Getting a boner from just... He had to get rid of it before she got back. He took a deep breath and tried to think of something else.

He was relieved that it took some time, before she got back. He turned his back to the bathroom, so he wouldn't look at her as soon as she got out.

"Y-yeah, it has to dry somehow," he mumbled when she got back.

"We should hang up your clothes too," she said and bent over, revealing her cleavage.
"Do you want me to help you take them off? They're a bit tricky when they're wet.."
She talked to him as if he was 5 years old and didn't know how to dress himself.

He backed a little away.
"N-no, they aren't that wet. I think it'll be just fine if I keep them on," he said and held his pants as if he was afraid she'd start forcing them off him.

She giggled and sat back down.
"As you wish."
She sat down closer to him than she had been before, without even realizing.
She was dry now, but her underwear wasn't, which wasn't a good thing considering they were white.

He looked at her for a second when she sat down, but then turned his head and looked elsewhere.
"H-how long do you think it'll take to d-dry?" he mumbled.

She reached her hand out and forced him to turn his head and look at her.
"You're ignoring me again," she said and giggled.
"Stop it, I won't bite."

Sinbad looked at her face. Without realizing it he lowered his sight. He shut his eyes.
"Y-you are not wearing anything," he said nervously.

"I'm wearing underwear," she said as if he was acting childish.
"Not any worse than wearing a bikini is it?"
She couldn't understand what the big deal was.
Not like she was showing off her private parts or anything.

He took her hand in his and moved it away from his face.
"You can wear what you want, but then you'll have to deal with me looking the other way," he said and turned around. He let go of her hand and instead placed both arms around his knees.

She sighed, slightly hurt. He was acting like a toddler.
She looked at him for a while, hoping he would turn and look at her again. Say something sweet again. He didn't.
She got to her feet and walked to the bathroom.
"I'll go look if my clothes are dry yet," she mumbled.

"Good," he sighed. Was she doing it on purpose? He shoke his head.
- Silly girl.
It hasn't been more than a few minutes, so there was no way it would have dried yet. But he hoped that she'd put it on anyway. Or stay in the bathroom until it was dry enough to wear.

It wasn't even close to dry, but she put it on anyway. She just wanted Sinbad to stop being mad at her.
She walked out of the bathroom and sat down next to him again, taking his arm in hers and resting her head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry.." she whispered.

When she sat down next to him he could feel the wet fabric against his skin.
"T-thank you for putting it back on," he mumbled at he turned slightly and looked at her. Though it didn't help that she was holding his arm now. But it felt nice.
She was just holding his arm. There was nothing wrong with that. He could allow himself to enjoy it.
He relaxed a bit and let out a sigh.

She smiled at him. She was just glad he wasn't mad really.
"It'll dry either way, it will just take a bit longer if I wear it."

"Sorry for acting like.... uhm, like that," he said. Why couldn't he just learn to control himself? It would be so much easier.

"It's ok, I understand," she smiled and hugged his arm tighter.
She didn't understand, but she didn't care either. As long as he was fine now.

When he had first met her, he had been so sure that she was older than Ariel. If she hadn't told him her age, he would have begin to doubt it. But that was probably just her personailty.
"So, what do you wanna do now?"

Thoughts of what they could do together ran through her mind, making her blush and shake her head to clear her thoughts.
"Ehmm.. up to you really," she said softly..

He moved his free arm to the top of her head and patted her.
"Maybe we could play a game again," he suggested.

"Sure!" she grinned at his suggestion.
"Got any games in mind?"

Sinbad had never really played much since he was a kid. And back then he often had toys or something to use for the games. It was hard to think of something to do for 2 people, when you had absolutely nothing.
"Uhm... Not really," he said and thought about it for a little while. "We could play two truths and one lie. Do you know that game?"

"Yes!" she said excited and jumped.
"Who goes first?" she asked and giggled.

"Ladies first," he said and winked at her.

She thought about it for a while, cocking her head to the side and looking up.
"Hmm... I have never once eaten a hot dog... I am an only child and... I am a virgin," she giggled. The choices were silly, but she figured she'd start it off easy.

Sinbad thought about it in silence for a little while.
"It's hard to say..."
Hotdogs seemed like such an ordinary thing. He would be quite surprised if she hadn't eaten one her entire life. She seemed rather spoiled at some points, but since she came from a rich family, it didn't neccesarily mean that she was an only child. But from the story she had told, she had just seemed so lonely.
Whether or not she was a virgin was hard to tell. But she seemed rather innocent, and if she had been in love with Dimitri for such a long time, she might have saved herself for him.
"Hotdog, only child or virgin," he mumbled to himself as he tried to decide which one to go with.
"I think it's a lie that you've never eaten a hotdog."

"Actually... that one was true," she said and blushed thinking about what the lie was.

"Really?" he said surprised. "You've never eaten a hotdog?"
He studied her as he thought about the two last posibilities.
"Could it be that you are not a virgin, then?"

She blushed like a surise once again.
"Ehmm... that might possibly be the lie, yeah..."
She wasn't ashamed of what she had done with Dimitri, she had done it with all of her heart, and with honest intentions such as love, but how would Sinbad have any idea of that?
"Your turn?" she said still blushing, trying to change the subject.

A part of him was a little surprised that he guessed it right this time.
"I wouldn't have imagined that," he said, still slightly surprised. It was probably the way she was acting. She just seem like such a child... innocent and cute.
"Well yeah, my turn..." he said and thought about something to say.
"I never had a pet when I was a kid... I enjoy big, official parties... I'm quite skilled when it comes to making paper planes."

She blushed even more. It only happened once. And it was Dimitri...
She was glad when he started the game again. It made her think of other things.
She looked at him to see for any signs of which one was the lie. She had been to countless official parties in her lifetime. It was expected of her to go to them. And Sinbad didn't exactly strike her as the kind of person who would attend things like that.
"I'm going to bet you don't like big, official parties," she said and looked at him in antisipation, wondering if she was right or wrong.

She looked even cuter when she blushed.
"You are a lot better at this game than I am," he said and playfully tapped her nose.
"Official parties have never really been my thing. I guess it means it's your turn again."

She couldn't help but blush more when he tapped her nose. She felt like a christmas candle, and just as hot as one too. She tried to distract her mind by thinking of more things to come up with. After thinking for a while she said:
"I am a natural blonde.. my favorite color is blue... and I have a teddy bear at home named Teddy."
She giggled once she said the last one. She had never been creative with names.

Sinbad studied her closely. Her hair seemed real enough, so he doubted that was it. She seemed like such a girly princess type. He would have figured her favortie color had been pink or something. Maybe because that was the color her dress had. So maybe that was it.
A teddy bear named Teddy. It seemed so silly. And yet it seemed just like a name she'd give it.
"I'm guessing blue isn't your favorite color."

"No, it's purple to be honest," she said and laughed.
"Your turn?"
