~ The Christmas Party ~

He ripped off a tiny piece of the old sack before tying it around the teddybear from Jasmine, giving it a cute ribbon around it's neck. The teddy bear from Dimitri he put a tie on.
"There. Now you always know which one is which," he said and winked at her before handing her one of the bigger gifts.
"To Lilo; From Cinderella"

'I know... its kind of contradictory. Not always so nice out here though..' he warned. 'What I mean is, the Villain doesn't always use this to throw parties. But yeah.. the air is a nice change.. and the food thats not bread. Eat as much as you can! It won't last long and then you will miss it' he suggested.

She laughed, "Oh I know, I'm starting to make plans to shove some food into my pockets when the Villain isn't looking." She said in a teasing manner. It was nice to actually see Dimitri face to face, he certainly looked like he needed to see more happiness.

'Thats a good idea' he laughed. 'But I'm pretty sure I've stuffed so much in my pockets I've run out of room' he said, remembering the necklace and a couple of things from the suitcase were probably still there. 'Lets hope he won't remove them from our pockets when we are moved back' he said.

Snow White sighed, "Yeah lets hope, I'm kinda sick of dry bread and water however it could be worse." She said as she tried to think about it optimistically. "So you've been to the garden before?" She asked.

'Yeah' he said, not really saying much more. 'It wasn't snowy then though... and its alot bigger than you probably expect from what you can see here..'

Lilo smiled. "Thank you.", she touched his arm gently before taking the next present. It was... another teddy bear. But this time it was a black one. A single tear dropped down Lilo's cheek. She didn't even noticed it. Her blonde friend with the soul of a black-haired. For some reason they understood each other so well. Lilo missed her. She remembered that she didn't saw Cindy on the party yet. Hopefully she and the baby were alright.

Pocahontas watched Dimitri walk off, before she went to Kenai, sitting next to him. She smiled at him as her head rested on his shoulder, "Merry Christmas, Kenai." She whispered, smiling at him.

She nodded and decided not to bring it up again, "So I don't think we finished our conversation earlier, and I find it hard to believe that you're not good at something." She said

"You have quite a lot of friends," he said softly to Lilo, happy for her, before handing her a present the same size as the last one he gave her.
"To Lilo; From Kenai."

He smiled when Poca came back. He had been too shy to go talk to anyone, and just sat in the corner and ate. He wrapped his arm around Poca and pulled her closer to him. "Merry Christmas Poca." He said softly kissing the top of her head.

He laughed. 'Oh right that.. well I've had many jobs, and had to do many things, and all of them I've sucked at' he joked. 'I was a chauffeur that was more likely to run people over than actually get them to their destination... and I drank the drinks I poured customers when I worked in a bar.. and I got in fights with customers' He sighed, seeing if he was making a point. 'I'm good at getting fired?' he said jokingly. Thinking hard he said, 'and I guess I know a little bit about medicine... well you know, broken bones, bandages and so on.'

She winced as he started talking, "I doubt you were that bad, and at least you know medicine, that's better then me. I can't even begin to know what I'm supposed to do with any injuries I could receive." She said encouragingly.

Pocahontas smiled, snuggling close to him, feeling calm. She looked up at the Christmas tree once again, before looking back at him. She messed up his hair a little, "May I ask why you were in this corner by yourself?"

'Hmmm I guess..' he said. He hadn't learnt that from good experiences though. 'I was just thinking of hobbies and so on.. I dont' really have any talents really that are special.. more, uh, life skills.' Like the ability to down vodka straight he thought, before laughing at himself. 'You know, its Christmas. Might as well be a little less negative..' he smiled.

With all the fluffy teddies on her lap, Lilo stared at her next present. She pouted. "Well, sometimes I think that's not good having so many friends."

She hesitated and finally took the present too. "Kenai...", her voice was cold and sad. She unwrapped the present and looked at the teddy bear. One again. She looked at the three in her lap and then on the one in her hand.

"What shall I do with so many teddy bears?"

He blushed qand smiled shyly to her. "You said you would be right back, so I waited." He looked her in the eyes, and gave a small peck t her lips.

Snow White sighed as she smiled up at him, "Well then I guess we're just going to have to figure some stuff out , when you were roomed with Lilo did you draw with her?" She asked

'Oh, really ..?' Odette said and laughed lightly.

She stood in silence for a moment as she remembered what had happened to her before .. what Charlotte had called her before she slapped her.
She suddenly pushed herself away from him and sighed, trying not to let her words get to her .. especially not now.

'Sometimes... more often she just used my back as a means of reaching the high walls and ceiling. But yeah, I did some.. Sort of' he said.

At some point in time, Cinderella started walking around the gardens by herself. Earlier she heard laughter and noticed John and Sinbad having a snowball fight, which made her giggle silently.

Even Christmas can make them two act like best friends... She thought, smiling.

She was in awe by the snow that covered the gardens. She missed the times she played in it with her father, mother, and some times, grandfather. Even after her father died, her mother and grandfather would ease up on her during Christmas.

She had finished her plate as she watched everyone else wake up or mingle.

It was nice.

"Is something wrong?" he asked concerned, disappointed that she left his arms.

Pocahontas saw Cinderella move to the food, "Come on, let's go talk to Cinderella, she's all alone." She said, getting up with Kenai, walking with him to Cindy, "Hey Cindy, Merry Christmas." She said, smiling as she hugged her gently.

Cinderella smiled when she saw Pocahontas. "Poca! Merry Christmas!" She said, hugging her back.

She looked over at the man next to Pocahontas and smiled. "Merry Christmas!"

She smiled, "See? You can draw, I'm sure you're really good at it." She said

He smiled to the woman again. "Hello again. And Merry Christmas." He said smiling happily. He didn't hug her, just offered his hand to shake. Feeling it might be too awkward to hug.

Pocahontas smiled at Cindy, "Cindy, this is Kenai..my boyfriend." She said, smiling shyly, "And Kenai this is Cinderella." She introduced them fully this time. Pocahontas looked at her belly, "Wow, the baby is growing fast. How are you feeling?" She asked.

He handed her the last present, this one a bit flatter, and longer.
"To Lilo; From Dimitri."
"Last one," he said before she opened it.

'Hmmm well we'll see' he said. 'But thanks anyway....' he said, knowing she was trying to make him feel better.

Cinderella shook Kenai's hand. "Sorry I didn't really introduce myself earlier, I kind of made myself disappear into the background." She said, with a small shrug.

She smiled at Pocahontas. "Oh really?" She asked, before looking back at Kenai. "You better take care of her, all right?" She said, before hugging Pocahontas. "She's been through a lot."

Cinderella laughed a little at Poca's statement. "Yeah, we're both doing fine. Seeing as it's December... I think the baby will be born in March and we'll know then if it's healthy and if it's a boy or a girl."

Snow White sighed, "You just don't want to see how much of good person you are do you?" She asked quietly and sadly.

Pocahontas laughed, before smiling as she hugged Cindy back, "I just finally found someone who focuses only on me, and doesn't want to hurt me." She said, before listening to Cindy talk about the baby, "I pray that it'll be healthly, and you will have a safe birth.." She said, before looking around, "This place is so beautiful, though, I can't believe it's Christmas already.."

'Hmm, well I don't know' he said, feeling a bit sheepish since she was being so insistent. No one really taken the time to prove that about him to the extent Snow was. 'But I understand what you are trying to say..'

He smiled at Cinderella. "Hi Cinderella, or may I call you Cindy?" He asked politely. He looked at the womans belly for the first time, a bit surprised, but he kept quiet about it. "Don't worry, I will take good care of her." He took pocas hand and looked lovingly into her eyes.

'Don't worry, I'm just .. fine,' Odette said slowly as she turned to look at him, a fake smile forming on her lips as she tried to push Charlotte's words to the back of her mind again.

She bit her lip, "Do you? You may have made mistakes Dimitri but I think you're a good person. I may not have known you for a long time but I can tell that you are." She said.

Lilo tilted her head. Another one from him? She smiled. "I love you big bro.", she whispered. Lilo opened the present and squealed in happiness. As fast as she could she put some chocolate in her mouth and closed her eyes.

"Mmh...", she opened them and smiled to John. "Thank you. For everything.", she meant it that way,

"You don't seem fine," Sinbad said as he moved closer to Odette again.
"Won't you tell me what this is all about?"

'Maybe so...' he said, growing awkward at the compliment.
'So.. of all these people who is Shang?' he asked, looking around and changing the subject.

He pulled out one more present and gave it to her. This one didn't have any writings on it, but John only smirked.
"And here is my present for you," he smiled before standing up and starting to walk off.
"I'll let you open it alone," he winked at her before once again walking towards the table.

She rolled her eyes at the change of subject and then pointed him out, "He's the one getting food, he's been by Charlotte most of the night." She said quietly.

He noticed Charlotte then, standing with a tall asian man.
'Ah..' he said, then sensing her tone asked 'is uh.. everything alright with you two?'

"Either is fine." She told Kenai. She laughed at little at his expression. "Yeah, can be quite a surprise to people... And good, she deserves it." She said, smiling.

"Yeah, I can't believe it's Christmas either," She said, looking at the large tree. "But, I'm happy about it." She stated, smiling.

John simply grabbed a green apple from the table and started walking towards Pocahontas and Kenai once again.
He grabbed Pocahontas' hand and kissed it softly, but didn't let go of it.
"Mind if I steal you away for a little bit?" he asked charmingly and winked.

'Really, forget it .. it's nothing important,' she said quickly before turning away again, 'I don't know why it even bothers me that much.'

She bit her lip, "I don't know, ever since Charlotte woke up he's been by her side. I understand that she might be scared but its just I feel like she really likes him. That's the vibe I'm getting anyway." She said eventually.

Pocahontas smiled at Kenai, blushing as he held her hand. Though she froze when John grabbed her hand from Kenai. She looked up at him, confused.

What the..?

She shook her head, "N-No.." She said, trying to hide how scared and confused she was.

Cinderella looked up when John appeared. When she realized he was there for Poca, her heart dropped a little. She bit her lip, not saying a word.

She looked at Pocahontas and noticed how nervous she was. She grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, while offering her a smile.

He couldn't help but smile as she started stuttering, but quickly led her away from the others while holding her hand. He walked in between a few trees, and a little bit far, so that no one could see them, hear them or interrupt them.

"But I don't like to see you down," he said softly.
He gently forced her to face him.
"If something's wrong then you can always talk with me about it," he said, looking her in the eyes as he caressed her cheek.
