Roomed with another redhead

Sinbad woke up and looked around. He was alone in the room. He could hear the water running. It was probably Anya who was out there, so it'd be best just to stay here.
He laid his head on the pillow and stared at the feeling. He would never get tired of a bed again. It felt so good.

Anya turned off the water and stepped out. Grabbing a towel she quickly dried off and got back into her clothes. She stepped cautiously out of the bathroom. She smiled a little "Hey, you're up."

Sinbad lifted his head a tad and smiled at her.
"Yeah... How did you sleep?"

She shrugged. "No nightmares." she never really slept well

"Well that's good." He looked at her for a little while.
He raised from the bed and walked in her direction.
"I'll also take a shower."
Then he walked past her and continued to the bathroom.

Anya walked over and sat on the bed. She rested her chin on her fists. Still confused. She needed to sort her feelings out. She closed her eyes. Why did everything have to be so difficult? Pocahontas said that Eric still might love me, she thought, but he didn't act like it. What she needed was to see and talk to Eric again. If she saw him it would hurt her, but she had to know exactly how he felt.

Sinbad turned on the water and went in.
Why did she have to look like that. He loved it and hated it at the same time. He really missed Ariel.
He finished up, dried himself and put his clothes back on.
He walked out and saw Anya on the bed. She looked like she was thinking about something.
"Is it something interesting that's on your mind?"

She glanced up a little startled, "Err, no just thinking about what the villain will have us do next."

"Ahh, I see."
He sat down on the bed beside her.
"Which one of his so called games have you participated in so far?"

"Well you already know about the partner game." She gestured towards her scar. "And you were at the card game." she thought for a moment. "There was the russian roulette game."

"It's just so sick," he said and let himself fall back in the bed.
"How does he even come up with all these creepy games."

She shrugged again. "I guess the same way he came up with the idea to lock a bunch of people up and torture them."

Sinbad laughed a little.
"Yeah, I get your point. He must have a lot of money. And this is what he decides to spend them on."
He stood up and walked around the room.
"I wonder what he was on when he decorated these rooms. A knife... duct-tape... a rope..."
- He is either really kinky, or ... just weird.

She looked at the items, "I don't think I want to know..." It was probably there for killing someone. "But all the rooms are creepy."

"Yeah, you are right."
He threw himself in the bean bag.
"But this one is nice.... and so is the bed. I wonder why he mixed the creepy and bad things with the nice. Why would he give us something to enjoy as well?"

"Who knows what goes on in his head," she muttered. she went over and picked up the knife staring at it. "Someone could just kill themselves if they didn't want to be locked up anymore..."

"Yeah... There are some people who seems to prefer death..."
He looked at the ground for a little while. Then he looked up at Anya.
"If someone wanted you to kill them.... do you think it would be right to... to just end their life?"

She looked down at the knife. "No. I don't think so. I think if they want to die they should do it themselves." She looked up. "Sorry that sounded mean. I just don't want to be responsible for killing someone." She threw the knife down.

Sinbad smiled a little at her reply. That was exactly how he thought of it.
"What if you had the opportunity to help them, but they begged you to just leave them alone to die.... What would you do in that situation?"

She glanced at him again. "I would ignore them and help them anyway."

"Sorry for the weird questions.... I..."
He looked elsewhere.
"... I just wanted to get someone elses opinion on that."

She raised her eyebrow, "So you've been put in these situations?"

"Well.... yeah, I have. There's a girl in here named Meg. The last time I met her she wasn't herself anymore. She had been with the Villain, and he hurt her. She asked me to kill her, but I couldnt do that.... She got really sick and started coughing up blood. She wouldn't take her medicine, so she had to be forced to."
He put his knees up to his chin and held his arms around his legs.
"She just seemed so angry... and sad... She had always been there for me... and now I wouldn't help her do what she wanted me to... I just wasn't sure if I did the right thing."

She looked at him for a long time, "You did do the right thing,"

He looked up at her. At little smile appeared on his lips.
"Thank you," he whispered.

She smiled back. It didn't matter if she thought it was right or not. Sinbad just needed to hear he was right.

Sinbad sighed and leaned his head back. He stared at the ceiling for a while.
"This place drives me insane. There's almost nothing to do, you can't decide anything, and you never know when something bad will happen."
