Like a ghost...

SHe couldn't help herself to think that he was really a spoilt child, but she didn't think it with evilness: he was just lucky, she wasn't, and it wasn't his fault. A nanny or a maid for him? Who was there when she was sick? Better stop to think about it. At his last phrase she laughed a bit, a short laugh, a little amused "Oh sure, wanna tell me a story?" she replied teasing him, but, once again, without evilness.

"Yeah, sure," he laughed. It was nice to see her laugh. Even if it was just a little. And a story could be nice to think of something else, at least just for a little while.
And then he started to tell a story about a little rabbit who played in the forrest, but got lost. It tried to find its way home, but a lot of bad things happened to the little rabbit. Sinbad told Meg about the evil animals it met on its way. All the hard things it went through. At last the little rabbit was so tired, and it had lost hope. It thought it'd never get home again. But then the rabbit met someone unexspected. It was its older brother who was there to take the little rabbit home.
".... and then they went home together," he ended the story.

Meg just stayed in the same position, the forehead resting on her knees: it was kinda amusing, be there like a child listening a silly story about a sillier rabbit. But, in a strange way, it was nice: was nice to see how Sinbad was trying to help her, to stay with her. When he finished the story Meg couldn't help herself but ask teasingly "oh, really, no more troubles for the silly bunny?"

"Hmmm," he said and leaned his head against the wall.
"I've never really thought about it before. But it'll probably get other problems. But if it's lucky, it won't be alone this time."
He turned his head and looked at her.
"But that's just my opinion. What do you think?" he said with a teasing smile.

OOC@Meg: DON'T DIE, PLEASE!

"I think that they both will be the dinner of someone else" she replied teasingly, then, shrugging "Oh well, it will be an happy ending for someone else"

"Dinner?" he asked a bit surprised as he laughed.
"Oh well, if that's the case, then I just hope they can enjoy life until then," he said a bit more serious.

Meg shrugged while a chill crossed her back because of the fever "It's just a silly story" she replied

Sinbad sighed. "Yeah, just a silly story," he said as he stared up into the air.
He turned his head and looked at her.
"What about you? Do you know any stories? Something you were told, something you made up in your mind, anything?"

WIth a bitter smile, still without change position, she replied "The only story that i was told when i was a child was that my mother was a whore and that a useless person like me couldn't me anything more then this. Not a great story." Usually she didn't talk about herself, about her life, with anyone. But now... the strange situation, the fever, and John, expecially John, that made her softer, that forced her with sweetness to talk... all of this made her weaker in this, and more open to talk...

ooc: are you sure? Do you prefer beat her?

She had really been told that? Who would tell that to a child?
"No, it isn't," he said in a sad voice. "But not all stories are telling the truth."

She shrugged, it really wasn't important. And, after all, her story at last said the truth, didn't it?

Sinbad saw the shrugging, and when she didn't reply he decided to continue.
He turned his head and looked up into the air again.
"When you are a child, people tell you lots of things. About the world... about you... about everything. And then you grow up, and then nothing is like you were told."

"Oh, really? So i have to be an exception..." she replied sarcastic, still without move

Sinbad sighed.
"I know you worked as a whore. But why is it you can't see yourself as more?"

"Maybe because i'm just this." she replied, a bit tense now, but her voice sounded just tired

"Oh really?" he said a bit sarcastic.
If that's what she had believed her entire life, then it probably wasn't easy to change her way of thinking of herself.

She didn't reply, she just snorted. It wasn't important what she could think about herself, it was just in that way, nothing could change it. She had tried to change her mind, and now... no, better don't think again to it... it hurted already enough without focusing on it...

He looked at her from the corner of his eyes. It didn't seem like this topic pleased her. Not at all.
He sighed and faced her.
"So are you feeling hungry now? Thirsty, maybe?"

"No, i'm ok..." she immediatly replied flat, as she was really used to reply in that way. Actually... maybe she was a bit thirsty, but no hungry. Even if that was... probably 3 days that she hadn't eat enything...

"Hmm, I see.... Well, I'm a bit hungry," he said as he raised from the floor.
"... so I will go get something to eat."

"Enjoy your meal..." she replied still without move.
"So... what will you eat? Stale bread?" she asked, without can imagine what John gave to the prisoners in those days...

"Yeah, if I'm lucky," he said flat, thinking about the disguting food he had gotten a while ago. He really did hope it was bread, and not something worse.
He left the bathroom.

"Lucky? What can you find worse?" she asked teasingly, still without can imagine what he could have to eat

"You don't wanna know. Believe me," he said from the other room.
Then he went over to the door, and started eating some of the bread that was in front of it.

She was almost tempted to ask what he ment with it, but then she just gave up. She raised with fatigue, fighting with the dizziness, and went in the other room with Sinbad: she looked really pale and weak...

Sinbad looked up at Meg when she entered the room.
With some bread in his hand he went over to her.
"Maybe it'd be better for you to sit down some more."

"Yeah... i guess you're right..." she replied staggering toward the wall and then sitting again in a corner. She looked so weak in that moment... surely SInbad, in all their time together, had never seen her in that way...

Sinbad sat down beside her. He was worried about her. To see her like that... it was just so different from what he was used to.
He ate another piece of the bread he had in his hands.
"Are you sure you're not even a little bit hungry," he asked Meg, with a hint of begging in his voice.

"Sure" she nodded at his question, avoiding his begs. Actually, she stopped to feel the hunger... oh, so much time earlier! She eated however just because of Antoine first, and then because of John, and there was too the fact that she still wanted to live... but now... now it was... different...

"I can understand, that this isn't the kind of food that'd give you appetite," he said and looked at the bread.
"But you should really eat something. If not now, then at least later today."

ooc: awwwwwwwwwwww you two are so sweet poor poor Meg I want to hug her

"Yeah. we'll see later..." she replied flat in a vague answer: it was just a way to stop him to continued with the argument, not like she was really intentioned to eat...

ooc: @Wendy: awww!!! *huggles*

"Fine," he said in an upgiving tone. He wondered if she would ever eat at all.
"Oh well, then I'll save some of it for later," he said before he took one last bite.

"If you're hungry don't worry, you can eat it..." she replied in the same flat tone

"No, it's alright. It might not be a good idea to eat it all at once, anyway. Besides... it's bread. Really dry bread."
Sinbad put the bread down, then he leaned up against the wall.
"But better than rotten food, I guess."
He glanced at her from the corner of his eye. Hopefully she had eaten something when she was with the Villain. He probably also served better food.

"Well... yeah, i guess that's better than rotten food..." she replied, without understanding why he talked about rotten food, she really couldn't imagine what the villain gave to his prisoners only a few days before...

"So ... How are you feeling now?"
Why did he even ask that. He probably wouldn't even get a honest answer from her.

"I'm fine..." she replied, lying as always and staring at the ceiling: gosh, it was so... so... aberrant stay in this room, without anything but the floor, the walls and the ceiling. Not a bed, not a chair, nothing! She had to have made John really pissed off to deserve to stay in that room...

"Hopefully you'll get better soon," he said, ignoring her answer, because he didn't believe it anyway.
"How often do you get these? These attacks."

Still staring at the ceiling, she got really tensed when he asked about her illness: looking everywhere but at him, she bit her lower lip "It's not that important..." she whispered in reply after a while

ooc: ehm... ehm... i think have sex with Meg XD Meg was hurted, and you... put in this room forever XD

"Do you have something important you wanna tell me about, then? Otherwise I wouldn't mind listening to unimportant things. There's not really anything else to do in here," he replied flat. Though he just really wanted to know.

"How did we arrive to talk only about me? Once it was just a 'taboo argument', we talked only about you..." she replied, trying to deviate his attention

"You said it yourself. Once it was. Meaning it isn't taboo anymore," he said a bit jokingly, though he was serious about it.

"Well, maybe i prefer as it was..." she replied with a snort: was still emrarassing for her talking about herself

"Because you were my customer, and i was just your whore, and if i couldn't keep my body for myself at least I could keep my private life!" she blurted: it was a rude reply, but at least she wasn't avoiding to reply

Sinbad got hurt by her answer. Of course it had just been her job... but still...
He sighed.
"Well, I'm not your customer anymore. And you were never just my whore to me. And now you're not even my whore anymore. Now we are just two persons... trapped in a room together..."

She felt more and more unconfortable, expecially because a part of herself was really tempted to talk with Sinbad, to trust him a bit, to try to have a friend in him... but she had to fight this stupid desire, she couldn't do it, why give him a weapon to hurt her more than she already was? She tried to raise again, maybe to come back to the bathroom, and was even too evident that she was just trying to escape, but she was really to weak and she couldn't raise at all
