The rich and the poor

Sinbad noticed that he wasn't lying in the comfortable bed he remembered he fell asleep in. Instead he was lying on the floor. At first he thought he might be back in room 8. He openend his eyes. He wasn't sure if it was the same room as before, but it clearly wasn't his old room either.
There was nothing in the room except him, Anya, the telephone and... some envelopes.
Sinbad went over and picked them up.
"Anya, it seems like we've got mail," he said as he sat down beside her and gave her the envelope with her name on it.

{OOC: Are the telephones still in the rooms? If not I'll edit my post. }

(OOC: Yep there are still phones)

anya sat up and opened the envelope. "Hmm, coins? What are these for?"

"Hm... I'm not sure," he said as he looked down in his envelope.
Then he looked at the catalogue. He opened it and looked at the pages.
"Maybe for these things," he said and pointed. He looked at the back. "It seems like we can buy stuff."

Anya looked over at the catalog. She thought for a moment.
She quickly counted her coins.
"how many coins do you have?"

"Uhm.... I have 5," he said as he looked down his envelope.
How was he supposed to buy anything with 5 coins?
He looked over at Anya.
"And you?"

She winced a little, "Uh, 50." she smiled at him sheepishly, "I was thinking maybe we could get a medium mattress?" That was all she really wanted anyway, a bed

"Lucky you." Why did she have so much more? Not that it was a bad thing, but still...

"Yeah, that sounds good. Something to sleep on. It's a lot better than the floor."
He looked at the catalogue.
"Maybe a towel as well?" he suggested.

She nodded, "Sure" they might as well

"Is there anything else you want?"

She shrugged, "I don't need anything else." Here it was not about want, it was about need

"Okay, then we should probably write our order down." He took the pencil they got with the catalogue. {OOC: I'm asuming there is one, since we are supposed to write what we want to order xD }
"So a medium mattress and a towel," he said as he wrote down the numbers.
He ripped of the last page with the list on.
"Can I get 35 of your coins? Then we can put it all in my envelope."

She handed him the coins, "chances are we'll be moved before the stuff even get's here," She said laughing

Sinbad laughed.
"I didn't even think of that. But then let's hope that there will also be some furnitures in the new rooms."
He put the money and the list in the envelope. Then he slided it under the door.
"But hopefully the stuff will arive soon."

"Hopefully tonight, I'd hate to sleep on the floor." Mostly because unless she slept right next to sinbad her nightmares would come back

"Yeah, the floor really isn't comfortable. And I was just starting to get used to a bed."
He leaned up against the wall.
"The villain comes up with the weirdest things," he sighed.

She laughed, "Yea, that's one word for what he does."

Sinbad smiled lightly.
"So is this your first time without furnitures?"

she sighed, "Besides being in the basement, yes."

"It's hard to get used to... if you can get used to it at all, that is," he sighed. He was already tired of not having any furnitures. And his back was sore from sleeping on the floor.
He stretched his body slightly.
"So what do you wanna do today?"

She sighed and hit her head against the wall, "well there's nothing left to do, but talk. Unless the villain has other plans." She rolled her eyes, she hated being so helpless in her life. Having someone else control her

"I guess you are right," he said with a little smile as he looked at her.
"It would be nice if we had some games to entertain ourselves with. Or something similar. But talking isn't bad either. Not when you have someone nice to talk to."

She smiled a little, "You're not so bad yourself." She froze. That was the joke she always made to Eric...she felt her throat squeeze tight, but she quickly covered her pain with a laugh, "So what do you want to talk about?"

[OOC: It will be there when you wake up tomorrow ]

OOC: YAY! nightmares for Anya!

"Well, that's good to know," he grinned.
"Could I maybe ask about your opinion on something?"

She grinned, "Sure, ask away."

He thought a little about where he should start.
"I had quite a hard time falling to sleep last night. I kept thinking about Kayley. Or Kayla, or whatever."
He sighed.
"I knew Ariel had had a girlfriend... And that she loved her... And I was perfectly fine with that. She was dead. And now... A part of me tells me that I should be happy for Ariel. That she might be able to see Kayley again... But I... I just can't..."
What was he even trying to say? Somewhere along the way he forgot. Maybe he just needed to let it out. He wasn't quite sure anymore.

"You think that she'll leave you for Kayley?" She watched him carefully

A shockwave ran through his body when Anya spoke. It was a weird feeling hearing someone say that sentence out loud. He had spent hours thinking about it, but hearing it was even worse.
He nodded slightly, without saying anything.

She touched his arm, "I guess you'll have to wait and see," she smiled at him, "But if she loves you half as much as you love her, then you have nothing to worry about."

A little laugh crossed his lips.
"Yeah, maybe..."
He wasn't really sure if he believed it. Actually he was pretty sure he didn't. Even if he really wanted to. But he needed to talk to Ariel. That was the only thing that could solve this. But it felt nice to talk to Anya about it.
"Thank you," he whispered.


{OOC: I was just wondering if you wanted to go to sleep at some point. It could be interesting now that Anya will be afraid to get nightmares. }

(OOC: Yea now is fine )

Anya felt a little yawn. no you can not sleep remember your nightmares.

Sinbad looked at Anya when he heard her yawn.
"Are you tired?"

She gave him a small smile, "Yes a little bit."

"You should get some sleep then," he said as he stroke her cheek.
Now that she mentioned it he also felt a little tired.
"I think I'll try to sleep a little bit as well."
He looked around the room.
"So, what part of the floor looks most comfortable?" he joked.

She shrugged, "here is fine." She was sure that she would not try to sleep

Sinbad laid down on his back and looked up at Anya.
"Yeah, I guess this is just a good as any other place."
Should he really sleep on the floor again? That definitely wasn't something he had missed. But at least this wasn't a stone floor.

Anya tried to stay awake, but she was just too tired. Sleep found her along with her nightmares

(OOC: I really have to get some sleep, but I'll talk to you tomorrow )

Sinbad managed to fell asleep on the floor.
He woke as someone punched him in the face. He opened his eyes and saw Anya beside him. She was moving in her sleeps.
Sinbad moved closer. He caressed her arm, trying to calm her down a bit.

{OOC: Okay, goodnight ^^ }

OOC: Hi! couldn't sleep thought I'd pop back here for a while

She woke up screaming, That one had been her worst one yet. She saw that Sinbad was awake next to her. "Crap." She burried her face in her hands, "I'm sorry." she whispered

OOC: I'm not going to be on very much tomorrow sorry I have to babysit

"It's alright," he said in a gentle voice.
"There's no need to apologize. Did you have a nightmare?" he asked concerned.


OOC: okay, thank you for letting me know

(YAY! I'm free!)

She let out a shaky breath. "Yes." She laughed nervously, "My first one in a while actually"

Sinbad thought of what she had told him some days ago.
"But I thought you only had them, when you were on your own..."
He wondered why she suddenly would get nightmares again. Could it be because of all that had happened with the furnitures? Or something else?

"I-I don't know..." She thought it was when she didn't slept next to someone, " I've never had them this bad before either." She whispered. Was it because of all the drama that had been surrounding her?

"I'm sorry to hear that," he said worried.
"Is it something you want to talk about?"

"No, I just don't know. I think I'm overwhelmed." She leaned back closing her eyes

"Okay," he said in a low voice as he sat up. He leaned his back against the wall.
Sinbad thought she might need a little time to calm down. Nightmares could be a terrible thing, and her nightmare seemed like one of the worst.

She breathed out a heavy sigh, "I'm really sorry if I kept you awake. If you want I'll sleep in the bathroom next time."

"Oh no, don't worry about it," he said quickly.
"It's nice having you in here," he said with a reassuring smile. He looked at her for a little while.
"If there is something I can do to help you in any way, then let me know."
