An unfamiliar face

Dimitri woke up.. he wasn't in the basement anymore. Instead he was back in his original room... he recognised the drawings on the walls and wondered where Lilo was now.

'Hello?' he said, stirring.

Phoebus opened his eyes and looked around in a discreet way and his eyes were only locating Jane, but instead he smelled something different, well someone different, this wasn't a female scent but rather manly. He saw some figure moving and quickly visualized on him, his thoughts became clearer when the man spoken to him

'Hi.' he stated not knowing what to say further along to continue the conversation.

'Oh great a frigging man with long hair, damn this is gonna be a bad day' his dark voice whispered back.

'Good for you' Phoebus smirked at himself

Dimitri heard a man respond.. he got up and groaned. As usual he had a headache from the sleeping gas.
He could swear he heard talking but there was only one person in the room... he assumed it was just his head confusing him.

'You ok?...' he asked, looking over at the man.

'Yeah...' He replied in shock, this was the first man who was being nice to him or not throwing stones at him thinking he was an outcast.

'Was just wondering.. you looked shocked. Probably this place' he mumbled, looking around the room and the walls.
'This used to be my old room..' he said.. 'but its been a while.'
He turned to the man. 'I'm Dimitri'
He offered to shake his hand. 'And you?'

'Okay... I'm Phoebus' He slowly stood up and shook his hand. Then he gave a curious look and began to question
'So this used to be your old room? how long have you been here? any idea why you are here?' he asked impatiently.

'Yeah i started off in here with a little girl.. but it seems we move around randomly whenever the guy behind the cameras feels like it. I've had 4 roommates including you. I've probably been in here a couple of months... its difficult to say. But i have no idea why really... well maybe a few ideas but nothing that justifies being locked up in here.'
Dimitri walked over to a picture Lilo had drawn of him and her...
'So Phoebus.. what about you? How did you get in here?' He sat on the floor and looked up at him.

it was weird, having another guy being nice to him.
'I don't really know..' he replied to the question.
'But I don't think I've been in here as long as you have.'
He paused, unsure about what to say to him. Still confused by the fact that he was having an actual conversation.
'Tell me something about yourself,' he said quietly. He was intrigued and curious about this man.

[OOC: going to bed now. 'Night ]

[OOC: Yeah i should be going now ... goodnight ]

'Yeah you still seem a little bit.. shook up about the whole situation.' Phoebus was being quite cautious, which Dimitri just assumed was because he hadn't been here long. 'And people come and go in here..' He thought back to the guy who died in the basment. If people were dying he assumed more prisoners were arriving to take their place..

'About me? What do you want to know? ... Theres not much to say really. I'm 23. Was a chauffeur... well I worked alot of jobs, got myself fired as many times, probably drank too much, family disowned me when I was 18...' He shrugged. 'Nothing particularly exciting. Well until I woke up here.' He looked at Phoebus. 'What about you?'

'Umm... umm...' Phoebus wasn't clear about the conversation, normally this type of conversations never occurred in his life.
'Nothing interesting or anything to be talked about, nothing good or anything happy so honestly I don't know what to say' he replied with a sigh.

Before Dimitri had the chance to reply, the TV was turned on.

The tv turned on the show Jane in this room... so she was in here he thought before instinctively beginning to panic- the last few people he had seen on a tv screen had ended up dead. Then Phoebus walked in.. and suddenly Dimitri became aware of the strange man standing near him. He backed away.. eyes fixed to the screen. When he touched Jane his fists clenched, but he didn't look away until the tv screen turned black.

Slowly he turned around ...'You bastard' he said at Phoebus, his voice filled with digust and anger.. 'what did you do to her?!'

Phoebus looked shocked, he was really shocked knowing that someone recorded it, but he just realized that Dimitri was someone special in Jane's life, she mentioned his name on several occasions 'You... You are Dimitri!'
Phoebus stepped back stunned, he lost his words, he has no definition for Dimitri

'I raped her!' Phoebus screamed out with an evil smile on corner of his mouth. 'I touched her like noone else ever did!' he started to laugh angrily and wanting to hurt Dimitri the way he had hurt him by stealing Jane's heart.

Dimitri punched Phoebus across the jaw without a second thought..
'What.. did.. she do to deserve that?!' he said, looking right at Phoebus.

Phoebus laughed even louder at his punch smashing in his jaw 'She loved you!' he yelled back

'I mean I didn't mean to, I couldn't stop, I loved her and only her for the first time but when she said she loved you...' he replied in a sad voice and fell on his knees before he could finish his sentence

Phoebus continued and changed his voice to evil again 'I raped her!' he started laughing again.

[[dun dun DUN. Dimitri hears Jane's confession of love through Phoebus' mouth? Poor Dimitri... he really does have to deal with alot of emotional baggage in this RP xD ]]

His outburst made him pause for a second.. 'she loves me?' he said. It only made him more determined to find her.
Phoebus' face became apoligetic and he fell to the floor. But his apoligies just made him more angry.
'If you loved someone you wouldn't do that to them' he spat. 'You wouldn't hurt her.. you'd have let her go.'
He wanted to hit him again but he didn't really know what good that would do.. instead he paced around the room.
'So.. so what happened to her? Did you kill her?' he said numbly... He hadn't heard of Jane since she'd gone, so he was imagining the worst.

'No she should be fine, all I can remember is that the room filled with gas before it was too late and then...' Phoebus's voice broke down 'then I can't explain it to you how I feel, but yes I shouldn't have done that I feel bad' He replied softly.

'I feel worse for not destroying her womanhood though' Phoebus smiled back with sharp eyes then stood up on his feet and grabbed Dimitri's throat. 'Why did you had to come in my way?' Phoebus looks more angry and killer in his eyes.

Dimitri breathed a sigh of relief, but then was suddenly choked. He struggled to move by Phoebus held his grip.

Phoebus's eyes narrowed on Dimitri as he chocked from his grip 'Feel the suffocation? That's how I felt when Jane mentioned your name' his grip got tighter and his eyes enjoying the way Dimitri was fighting for air to breath.

Phoebus shook his hands hard and let go off Dimitri 'Are you alright?!' his voice broke down 'I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that, honestly' He moved away few feets away from him.

Dimitri waited to catch his breath again...
'what the hell is wrong with you?!' he said between breaths.
Phoebus' voice had changed again.. he looked at him confused.

'Just calm down and we can talk about it' Phoebus replied calmly 'There is no point fighting, look I won't bother with Jane anymore, you love her, she loves you, you two should be together, I will just stay out...' Phoebus replied again.

'Wait.. what?' he said, staring at Phoebus who was unusually calm for someone who'd tried to kill him a few minutes earlier. 'You tried to rape her, I don't think you seem to understand that. I can't just calmly discuss it.. it won't change what you did.'

'Look I didn't tried to rape her, yeah it was me but not me in mind' Phoebus sighed heavily not knowing what to say or how to explain 'I know what I did and I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to in the first place, you don't know how hard it is for me or how hard it is control my actions so just stay calm or something hurtful will happen and I don't want that' Phoebus sat down in silence.

Dimitri stared at him for a moment... 'so you've got a split personality?' he said, everything suddenly making sense.

'Yes... that's another way of explaining it... sometimes I change and I can't control my actions, but sometimes I can, just don't make me mad and you will be safe' He said quietly and starred at the ground. 'So do you really love her...?' he asked disappointed.

Dimitri thought back to Jane.. he'd been preoccupied with worry before.. did he? He remembered how angry he was when he'd seen the tv screen.. how his heart had jumped at the sight of anyone else touching her.
'You know I really think so..' he said.. 'but you don't know til its gone.. and who knows when i'll see her now.'

He looked at Phoebus.. 'Why do you think you love her.. I mean you must have known her, what, a day?'

'Let's not talk about me or my feelings, nobody cares and I don't anybody to care either' he said in a hard voice 'Jane said there's a escape plan...' He changed the subject on a serious tone.

'Yeah well look where that got us..' he said sighing. 'Jane was more the brains of that idea.. I can't help but be pessimistic. But she was hoping we'd find a way to get out of here...' he turned away from the cameras speaking quietly.. 'but those things are stopping us.' He indicated towards the cameras.
'Its probably useless anyway... the Villain doesn't seem to be one to make mistakes.'

"The villain huh...?' he said and started thinking to himself.
'Who is he anyway?'

'Who knows..' he said.. 'Just people started calling him that at the Dinner Party so i've stuck with it.'

'Oh I guess I missed the party then huh?' Phoebus replied in a humorous voice.

'Yeah I guess.. and the free food, don't forget that' he smiled. 'So, um, if you don't mind me asking' he said, cautious not to anger Phoebus, 'but how often excatly do you change if you know what i mean?'

'yeah I could use some good food' he smiled back. Dimitri's question paused him because he didn't have any answer for that.
'I honestly do not know, it comes back in presence of anger and women, not always though, when Jane was here I was normal at maximum time, but...' He stopped because he didn't wanted to remind himself of Jane and create a situation so he continued 'but there are some times when I can overcome it' he sighed.

Dimitri was still hesitant as he talked to Phoebus.. he knew he still couldn't forgive him entirely but he'd decided to put that past them whilst they were stuck in a confined space together.

'Well you seem to be doing a good job keeping yourself together now.. The food was alright, but really what with all the drama tha happened I really didn't eat as much as I should have. Now we're back to bread and water I think I should have stuffed myself while I had the chance!' Dimitri started to feel hungry... 'Hmm probably not best to talk about food anymore.'

'Well I'm quite happy with bread and water, I spent some nights without food, so the regular foods here is making me rather happy. But okay I got to admit I could use some fancy foods.' He smiled again, this has to be the first time someone spoke to him nicely, and he was enjoying it too.

'Hmm.. well recently I had got myself a job, and a flat, so the income meant I could afford to stock my fridge.' He guessed that what with the way Phoebus was, any chance of work was limited. 'But I've gone through tough times... so I can be grateful that at least we're being fed. Still, can't help but crave a pizza right now' he said with a slight laugh.

'Pizza... yeah I had some once, found it inside a thrash can, it tasted really good' Phoebus replied looking down, he never had much money to spend on fancy food, some nights he would eat out of big thrash cans outside big hotels. 'I would like some lemonade with that pizza too' he smiled back at Dimitri to remove the awkwardness.

'Trash cans? ... So what did you do with yourself all these years.. live off the streets. I used to crash in bars and stuff when I didn't have a place to go.. well until closing times. Makes me sound like an alcoholic, but when times were worse I'd rather spent my money on that than food.' He looked to Phoebus awkwardly... 'You must have had a home sometimes...'

'Home... I miss home... yeah I used to have a home, big comfy home, but it was taken away by the city councils when my parents died...' phoebus sighed and started to get flashbacks 'Actually I wouldn't mind some alcohol either' he smiled back to change the topic. 'Didn't you had any girl friend? wife? family?' he asked to get into him more.

'Nope... any family I had kicked me out at 18. Spent the last 5 years just kind of wondering from place to place.. sometimes on the streets... but I got a job and a house and things were looking up and then, yeah, I screwed up and eventually ended up here.' He looked at Phoebus.. 'I'm sorry to hear about your parents. But surely you would have been given a place to stay? I mean I'm sure they can't just make someone homeless these days..'

'Well the place I used to live wasn't that commercial, kinda like country side and harsh reality, and who would want to keep a rapist at their house?' Phoebus replied in a straight voice, there was nothing to hide, everyone got the book and everyone knows what he did. 'How did you screwed up anyway?' Phoebus seemed a bit curious.

So you've been a rapist for a while...

'I've screwed up many times in life.. but recently.. well I lost my job, home, only people looking out for me.. for a stupid reason. Just got fed up and ended up drunk on the job. And then when I woke up the next morning.. well I'm not sure... I was going to go back to my flat and then yeah.. must have bit knocked out.' He shrugged his shoulders- there wasn't much more to say. 'And here I am..'

He looked at Phoebus. 'How did a big guy like you get kidnapped anyway? I was probably still drunk.. and I'm not excatly the toughest guy in the world. But you, well it seems difficult to imagine you being taken so easily.'

'I don't know exactly, but I can guess it was a tranquilizer or something like that because I had a sharp pain for instance then I was unconscious immediately, I guess he had this all planned out' he sighed and continued 'I saw him once though...' he stopped and remembered in room with kida when villain entered and saved kida from his torture.

'Really?' he said, excited to finally get an idea of what the Villain looked like.
'Remember anything about him?'
