Cold Room; Cold Shoulder.

"Everyone likes to watch movies," she said lightly and nudged him teasingly.
"What kind of movies?"

"Mostly action. Though thriller and comedy can also be pretty nice. What kind of movies do you like?"

"Comedies," she smiled. "Mostly romantic ones."
She loved getting caught up in the movie, living someone elses lovestory. Mostly because she could never have one of her own.

"Do you have a favorite movie?"

"Lion King?" she laughed. It was such an amazing story. She specially liked the sequel, because of the love relationship despite everything, but she wasn't going to tell Sinbad that.

"That's also a great movie," he said and smiled at her. "I haven't seen it in years, though."

"I always liked animated movies," she smiled. They always had such amazing stories and morals.

"Just disney or just animated movies in general?"

"Animated movies in general," she said and smiled.
"But got to admit, Disney is my number one favorite," she laughed. It must sound so silly and childish to him.

"Ahh okay. They also made a lot of good movies. Though I must admit I wasn't a big fan of all those with princesses in them."

She couldn't help but giggle. She had thought so. He wasn't a big fan of Disney.
"What's your favorite movie then?" she asked and smiled at him.

"I'm not quite sure," he said as he thought about it. "I mean there's a lot of great movies, If I had to pick then I think it might be the Die Hard movies."

She smiled a bit. They were really different. But she never expected them to be similar. And besides, weren't their differences, and his bad boy side, the things she found so attractive about him?
They sat in silence for a few more seconds.
"So whose turn is it now anyway?" she asked and laughed a bit. She had honestly forgotten.

"i actually don't remember," he said after thinking about it for a little while.
"But you can give it a go if you want. I'm having a hard time thinking of things to say."

"Me too, to be honest," she laughed. She had never been good at coming up with things on the spot.
"And in all honesty, I'm a bit too tired to think right now," she said softly and yawned slightly.

"Then you should get some sleep," he said and smiled softly.
"Then we can find something fun to do again tomorrow."

"I'm sure we will," she smiled and lied down on the carpet.
"You can have the mattress if you want, I'm used to sleeping hard by now," she said and smiled weakly. She hated the idea of sleeping comfortable if it meant someone else had to sleep on the carpet.

"No, you should take it," he said and nodded towards the mattress. "I've spend a lot of time on a stone floor, so compared to that this carpet is nice," he said jokingly, even though it was the truth.

She looked sceptically at the mattress for a while before hesitantly saying her next words.
"We could always ehmm... you know... share... like last time.."
They hadn't really had a mattress last time, but she knew if they were to share they would have to snuggle up like last time.
It wasn't a tempting idea, or maybe the problem was that it was a bit too tempting, but she couldn't stand taking the mattress herself and let Sinbad sleep on the carpet.

Sinbad thought about it for a while. He knew he wanted to, but he wasn't sure if he should.
"Uhm... if it's alright with you..."

"I... I don't mind," she said shyly as her face flushed with a bright red color.
"It's better than having you sleep on the carpet," she smiled weakly, but kept looking down on the floor, too shy to meet his eyes.

Sinbad smiled at her. "In that case... thanks. That'd be nice."
He stood up and reached out his hand to help her up from the floor.

She took his hand and already felt the warm spread through her body just by the simple touch.
"Thank you," she muttered once she was on her feet and walked over to the mattress with him.
She knew she would have to wait until he laid down and then...
She blushed brightly just by thinking about it.
Being so close to him...

Sinbad studied the mattress as they walked towards it. For both of them to be there they would probably have to lay like they had done the last time they were together.
When he reached the mattress he laid down and waited for her to join him.

She looked at him for a while, thinking about the situation.
It was too late to go back now wasn't it? But was this really a good idea?
As long as they didn't do anything else this wouldn't hurt... would it? No harm done..
As he opened his arms she slowly lied down in them, cuddling herself against his hard chest.
She hid he face in his chest as the redness and warmth started spreading.
The goosebumps on her bare skin was just a tad bit too obvious, and she was sure he could hear her heartbeat as fast and hard as it was beating. And still...
She felt oddly comfortable...
And good...

He folded his arm around her and rubbed her gently.
"Have you gotten used to sleep in here? The first time we met you said it was rather difficult for you."

"Mhm," she said and nodded, still hiding her face in his chest, feeling his arm around her.
Why did he have to have such a power over her? It was like she couldn't control herself with him.
It would never be the same as what she had with Dimitri. It was more... intense.
How could it be that she felt butterflies with Dimitri, but electrisity with Sinbad?
Either way it didn't matter, because none of them wanted her. Not really.
Though she knew she could have Sinbad... and it killed her...
She knew she could, and oh, how tempting it was.
But she knew she shouldn't...
She didn't know at the moment why she shouldn't though...

"That's good to hear," he said and moved his hand to the back of her head to pat her.
"I hope you'll sleep well tonight as well," he said softly before he put his arm around her upper body again. He knew he couldn't go any further, so he just enjoyed holding her. He didn't want to ruin the little thing they had now. It was at least better than arguing.

She closed her eyes, cuddling in closer to him so that she wouldn't fall onto the floor.
"Thank you.." she near to whispered into his chest.
"You're a really good friend..."
She knew herself that he was more than just a friend. But she couldn't say that. He wasn't the type of guy she should like, or even consider kissing. And still she couldn't stop thinking about their earlier kiss.
She still couldn't tell him that. She couldn't give in to him. It would only have her heartbroken in the future. Also, after all the girls he'd slept with, she would probably only be a disappointment to him anyway, as she was so inexperienced.
Why am I even thinking about this?!
She closed her eyes, letting her head rest on his chest, listening to his heartbeat to calm herself down.

He wasn't sure how to react to her calling him her friend. He didn't say anything, just smiled at bit to himself. It was nice having her so close. It had been a long time since he had been able to sleep so close to anyone. He was really happy that they at least was on good terms for now, and then in the future.. that may come when it does, so Sinbad decided to focuse on enjoying the moment.

His heartbeat was unsteady, and she couldn't help but smile to herself. Even though she didn't want or accepted the feelings she had for him, it was sort of nice to know he felt at least something for her too, even if only lust.
She leaned her head up to kiss his cheek. She didn't even know why, but she wanted to and it felt good.
Then she laid her head back on his chest and before long she had fallen asleep to his heartbeat and his warm, comfortable arm wrapped around her. She always felt so warm and safe when he held her.
Safe from everything but him...

Sinbad sighed happily and closed his eyes. It didn't take him long to fall asleep. It was so nice to lay with her like that.
