I took a course online today and passed the written test after doing the
course X3 I'M GETTING MY PERMITTTT!!! 8D AND I GOT A 90 ON IT TOO!!! 8D

Do you have to pass a test to get your learners permit??!?
A learners permit allows you to drive whilst learning, yes?
We just have to apply for that, by filling out a form, and then we can do the theory whenever we want afterwards. So i've been learning for months now and still havent done my written theory test yet xD

@Poca, I don't know about Louisiana, but in Texas you can XD Those who are between 18 and 25 have to take a six hour course before they can get a permit or license >.> They explained it pretty well as to why in the course itself; because 50 percent of drivers never had the proper training to operating heavy machinery (aka: a car), and they mentioned other stuff that would take up a heck of a lot of space >.>

@Dimi I took the written test online X3 It was easy, because a lot of the stuff I already knew from listening to my parents teaching my brother how to drive XD Also, I took the 9 chapter course all day yesterday, they repeated a lot of stuff to program it into my brain @_@ Now I just have to wait to get my certificate in the mail, then head down to the DPS office, take a vision test, and then I get my permit! 8D

@Cindy: I know thats the same as the theory tests over here, just we dont need to do that BEFORE we get our permit. We can get them as long as we are over 17 xD

Cindy what were the steps to get your permit i need to get mine was is hard?

Well, I think it varies between states. I went to the Texas DPS website to find online course that were approved by the DPS. It wasn't hard, more long and time consuming. But, as I said, I think it varies between states.

I don't know really what to tell you expect to look it up :/ You can call your local DPS office for information.
