Tell me what I cannot do.

John was sitting on the floor bored waiting for something to happen, waiting for the unconscience body of Dimitri to wake up and get off of the floor. He had a job for him. One he couldn't say no to.
The drugs would mess pretty badly with his head, but in any situation, John made a point out of being safe, so he had brought his knife with him, positioning it behind his back where Dimitri could not see it.
Now it was just to wait..

Dimitri woke up, still drugged and therefore his reactions were slower than usual.
Slowly he turned his head around as he tried to get up, his eyes widening in suprise.
'..You' he managed to blurt out, although his voice was still rough from sleep. He stumbled to his feet, suprised he wasn't tied up, moving back instinctively.

He nodded while smiling teasingly.
"Who else?"
He got to his feet, picking the knife up, but leaving it at his side. He didn't see Dimitri as any threat at the moment.
"I have a job for you," he said bluntly, yet seriously.
"And I have a feeling you won't say no..."

He silently cursed the drugs, that still weren't wearing off. If they weren't messing with his vision right now he would happily lunge himself at the guy.
Instead he glared at him, not able to do much else whilst he steadied his feet. 'What makes you so sure?' he said, hating his arrogant attitude.

He held the knife in front of him, carefully feeling the tip with his finger as if to check how sharp it was, but also as a silent threat to Dimitri.
"I have my ways..." he smiled crooked.
"You know what I'm capable of doing... would you really take the chance of defying me...?"

He knew he was right, but he still looked at him with the same hatred, not even dignifying him with a response. He looked at the knife- of course he had brought one. Always had to have the upper hand... It was tempting to try and run at him.. The more he thought about it the more plausible it seemed that he could take the knife from him and finish this. But he knew in reality he would just end up dead.. or someone else. In the end he was right- he did have power over them all regardless of if Dimitri wanted to admit it.

John walked a bit closer to Dimitri and leaned down as if they were in a crowded room and didn't want anyone else to hear their conversation. Slowly he started whispering just loud enough for Dimitri to hear, but when John was done, Dimitri wished he hadn't heard it at all.
He smiled teasingly at him, loving the fear on his face.

He looked up in shock, before his face hardened in anger. He had been right, of course, knowing that he wouldn't be able to say no.
'Who?' he managed to spit out eventually.

"You'll see," he said lightly still smiling.
"Not now of course, but you will be of use to me later... just thought I'd prepare you," he said jokingly and winked.

'And why on earth would you want me of all people? I mean you've got quite a varied choice in here.. and I'm certain theres better people for the job..' He stopped momentarily, not really sure what to do or say.
'You can't just..' but he couldn't think of a way to end the sentence, because of course he could.

He laughed at Dimitri's unfinished sentence.
"Oh but Dim... I can," he smiled and fiddled with his knife once again before throwing his hand into his pocket and fishing out a key.
"Go back to your room now, you'll know when it's time," he smirked and threw the key at Dimitri.

Dimitri caught the key, recognising it was the one for Room 1. He left the basement quickly, eager to get as far away from the Villain as possible and stepped out into the corridor, heading towards the stairs that led to the rooms upstairs.

He watched him leave the room, but didn't make a point of following him. Not that there was anything to do in this room, but he was tired. Just tired. Mentally as well as physically. He felt as if he didn't want to do anything anymore, not even move. So he just stood there for a minute. He didn't think Dimitri would try to escape anyway, so he didn't feel like he was taking any chances by resting for a minute. Just one minute...
