Real Characters? 8D

Something that TAR did that I found abolutely wonderful was that we choose live action counterparts for our characters. Sometimes it is easier to make vids with their LA counterparts, so I was wondering if maybe anybody was game for doing that here?

I personally don't like that idea... I have no live action movies for one and I really can't think of anyone who would make a good Cindy...

But for Jane, I say Evie from The Mummy XD

Also, don't you think it might make it a little more complicated? That's just my thought...

I don't mind really... i have some live action footage and i can see it being easier to edit sometimes

I guess it will be up to each person if they want to or not... all I have live action wise so far is Supernatural and The Lovely Bones. Eric already said how he's meant to be based on Dean from Supernatural so for some characters it might work ^^

If everyone wants to it's completely fine with me ^^ I think it would be easier too xD
(Everyone, hurry up and choose Saw characters before they're all gone! D:)

BUT; seeing as the RP is so small I think it would be pointless if only a few people want to. So.. if you can get 15 people to pick a character, then it's fine ^^

The only problem for me would be getting all the footage... I still haven't got disney footage for everyone yet xD

But I don't mind thinking of a character so anyone who wants to make RL videos can edit with Dimitri

I would totally be game but I don't have any LA footage. Plus Esmeralda and Aladdin...well it might be difficult to find LA counterparts for them if anyone has any suggestions and knows where I could get links to movies with them in it. I would totally do that, plus it would be so much easier to make Esme pregnant with LA counterparts.

You can use spherise, i think its called, to make her pregnant. Thats what i used on a gmv, but that was a game not an animation

I'm really not a big fan of vidding with live action.
But I don't see a problem if someone else in the roleplay does. Just because the character has a live action counterpart, doesn't mean that everyone have to edit with it, right? So we could choose live action counterparts, and then people can edit with them, if they feel like it.
Though I'm not really good at finding live action counterparts for characters :/

@Sinbad I like vidding Live action, buuuut I just don't feel comfortable changing live action characters into our characters XP And I think it'll eventually get messy...

Maybe we can incorporate both animation and live action in a video && maybe someone could put up a list somewhere of the actors/actresses we wanted to use so it's less confusing? :3

Ooo and if someone doesn't want to download all the footage themselves, maybe the person with the LA chara can gather up a few scenes that would be good for the other persons video and upload them somewhere for them, that way they'll have the scenes they need and it won't take so long to download and it won't take up so much space - if that makes sense to anyone else but me XD

I'd probably use Christina Aguilera, since she was in Burlesque and I can see them being similar in some ways 8D But if anyone has any different ideas please let me know *3*

@Ariel: how about Bonnie Wright?? She's red headed plus she's done a couple other movies other than Harry Potter and she looks like she could play Ariel really well?? I'm not sure about Peter but umm....for Kayley maybe...ugh actually there's so many girls that could work for her that I can't pick one haha

The only real concern I have ATM is... I know with TAR LA kind of took over ._.'' They don't really make that many animated videos anymore, almost everything is in LA :/ (or is that just MY subber box? )

That's what I've been seeing too I only see a few animated stuff concerning them...

If I used LA characters, I'd probably mix them in a video with their animated counterparts. I wouldn't do the TAR thing where all of my videos would be LA, I'd miss the animation too much

Just a question:
Do we choose an actor (and can use all the footage with him/her) or a character in a single movie?

Actor would be easier to get footage .. because then people dont have to look for one specific film...
But obviously the actor would need to look similar in all the films used.. like Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands looks alot different to in POTC

Sorry but I can't stand Hugh Grant... my mum's sort of in love with him but he just annoys me xD So it wouldn't really want to edit with him. Also I want an american actor as Dimitri's not meant to be British. Though I can see how they look similar Thank-you anyway! :DD

I know a lot of people aren't likeing the idea, but I say we should at least give it a shot. I'm really wanting to try editing with it actually. Just to see if I like it, so Ylva would that be okay with you?? Could I like try it with Aladdin and Esme??

If i can get the footage then i don't mind people trying... as long as everyone chooses then the people the don't want to do it don't have to.. and if people can't decide then someone else can make suggestions.

Not everyone has to edit with it.. and obviously we'll all edit with disney more the live actors so it won't take the rp over... i definately will be using disney more... but certain people might want to use it so then its only fair to let them. These are only characters, not specific disney characters, so as long as the personalities are the same then whatever we use to vid them shouldn't really matter :3 At least thats what i think
