Finally back with the friend you Avenged...

Pocahontas woke up, realizing quick she was in another room, "Well at least I fell asleep before the gas filled in the room..But, I'm finally away from that bitch.." She groaned, getting up onto her knees. Her eyes scanned the room, stopping when she saw Odette. A smile went on her face the moment she did, "Odette!" Though she didn't want to attack her the moment before she would wake up. Therefore she sat there, waiting for her best friend to fall asleep before she would talk to her. A smirk formed almost, remembering she had avenge Odette and her baby...So many things had happened to her, and she needed Odette. Though she knew Odette probably would need her even more..

Odette sat up slowly, leaning her head back against the wall with her eyes closed.

'I wonder what that was all about ..' she thought and sighed as she remembered how angry Charlotte had been moments before the sleeping gas kicked in.

Pocahontas got up, walking to Odette, "Odette?" She sat down by her, letting Odette fully wake up before asking her questions. Ariel's face kept flashing in her head as she looked at Odette..Ariel's last struggle, the look on her face..Odette was free now, and no one would harm her again..

Odette rubbed her temple with her fingertips for a moment before turning her head when she heard the familiar voice.

'Hey,' she said and smiled at her when she saw Pocahontas looking at her, 'it's been a while, huh?'

Pocahontas smiled, "Yeah, it has.." She looked at her, feeling the tears starting to form, "Too long..I'm..I'm sorry I couldn't save you from Ariel.." She lowered her head, "I'm sorry...I couldn't keep you safe, especially the innocent life Ariel killed..Odette I'm sorry.." Pocahontas wanted to hug her friend, but not knowing if Odette was in pain she wouldn't..

Odette started to tear up herself as she watched her. She didn't realise before now that anyone but her could care this much about what had happened.

'Hey, it's ok .. you didn't know ..' she said quietly and pulled her in for a hug to comfort both Pocahontas and herself, 'the only one that could have stopped it was Ariel ..' she stopped to think about it for a moment, 'but maybe I could have stopped it from happening .. it's my fault, I should've tried to talk her out of it more ..'

She closed her eyes, feeling the tears fall down her cheeks as she smiled sadly, 'I think I was the only one that wanted it anyway .. Sinbad said that he'd help but Ariel would've never let that happen .. and with me as it's mother .. well, maybe it's better off this way ..'

Pocahontas lifted her head when Odette spoke, pushing gently away as she grabbed her hand, "It's not your fault! It will NEVER be your fault Odette. It will always be Ariel's fault for hurting you.." She listened to the rest of her wounds, letting the tears keep coming, "I don't think it will ever be your fault, and you look like someone who could be the best mother ever Odette!" She then looked down, squeezing her hand before she looked back to her. Pocahontas's face was now serious, looking at Odette, "And I stopped Ariel forever...She won't hurt you or anybody else Odette. Because I avenged you and your baby's life..I stopped her for good.." Her eyes stayed glued to Odette's, "And I won't let anyone hurt my best friend again!"

She couldn't help but smile at her words, 'thank you, it really means a lot to me,' she said as she squeezed her hand back before wiping away her tears.

'Wait .. what do you mean .. forever?' she asked confused, almost too scared to hear the answer.

Pocahontas smiled, "Your welcome.." She smirked a little as she didn't look away, and there was no shame in her expression, "I killed her..She killed a innocent life, therefore she didn't deserve to live anymore." Pocahontas squeezed her hand again. She then looked at Odette's hand, "I wasn't going to let her hurt you or anybody else.."

'You .. killed her ..' she repeated, but she still couldn't believe what she had just heard. This had to be some kind of joke, no one would kill for her, would they? She looked away and started laughing nervously, 'you're joking, right?'

Pocahontas shook her head, looking back up to her, her face was serious, "It's not a joke Odette.." She looked straight in her eyes, hoping she would see that she wasn't joking. That Ariel was truly dead..

She looked up at her again, seeing the look in her eyes she knew that she was telling the truth.

'How did it ..' she paused, she wasn't sure if she wanted to know but she had to ask, 'how did it happen?'

Pocahontas looked away a little, as if she was remembering the whole scene. Her eyes looked at the ceiling, "At first I just wanted to knock her out..So when she woke up, I punched her and then we fought. But, I won by knocking her out..Then I heard screams from the monitors..And the scene kept playing over and over in my head, I couldn't..I couldn't let her live. And by the time I went back to where she was knocked out..In the bathroom, I threw her in the tub and kept beating her, letting the water rise over her face. I held her there..I watched her last struggle...The last scream she tried to make as she finally died.." Her eyes looked back to Odette. Her eyes had looked extremely cold, "And the regret in her eyes.."

As she listened to what happened in Ariel's final moments, she couldn't help but picture it all so vividly in her head .. the fighting .. Ariel's face as she drowned .. as if she was there but couldn't do anything to stop it. Though what scared her the most was that she wasn't sure if she would have stopped it even if she had been there ..

'I shouldn't have screamed .. if I had stayed silent then .. maybe .. maybe she would have stayed unconscious and you wouldn't have .. she wouldn't be dead right now .. did all of this really happen because of me ..?' she said as she leant back against the wall again, thinking about how all of this could have been avoided if she had just stayed away from Sinbad in the first place.

Pocahontas looked at Odette, grabbing her hand once again, "I don't believe that any of this is your fault..So don't feel like it is..And Odette, she would've done the same thing if she did wake up without you making noise. I believe she was going to find a way to hurt you and kill the baby..Even if the knife wasn't there..And none of this is your fault, I believe that.." She looked at the wall, letting the tears fall as she thought what would've happened if she was there to save Odette. Her eyes looked back to Odette, "All of this is Ariel's fault..None of this is your fault in my eyes."

'But if I had thought about what I was doing instead of sleeping with a guy I didn't even know .. a guy who told me he had a girlfriend .. if I had just stopped to think for once, then there would have been no reason for Ariel to act that way .. she would never have needed to kill our ..' she stopped for a moment .. Sinbad, did he even know about Ariel?

'Does anyone else know what happened?' she asked as she turned back to her.

Pocahontas looked at her, understanding why Odette had did it with Sinbad..And by the sound of it, Sinbad was some sort of player, "I think it was Sinbad's fault to be honest..He could have stopped before you two did it.." She stopped, realizing she had done the same thing, "Odette..I slept with Thrax, and I'm kinda in the same situation with you..Except, I'm not pregnant." Her face sunk down even more, showing regret now, "I even slept with the Villain..." The tears started to fall, "And I can't get over Thrax..And I'm falling for Joh-Villain.." And she shook her head no to the question Odette had asked her, "No, no one else knows."

'You did?' she said, a little surprised. She turned away and laughed despite the situation, 'so you're one of the many girls he's had up there ..' Maybe we're both idiots for letting him manipulate us like that .. 'I don't blame you for falling for him ..' she said slowly, deciding to leave it at that. If she really felt that way about him then she didn't think it was a good idea to mention what she'd done with him not too long ago.

Odette stared at the wall opposite her, sitting in silence for a moment, so Sinbad doesn't know ..

'He loves her so much ..' it hurt her to say it but it was true, he'd told her enough times, 'what's he going to think when he finds out? .. He's going to hate me once he knows you only killed her to avenge me!' she said, raising her voice a little at the end, 'I just don't want him to get hurt because I was so selfish when we were first alone together and I just wanted to ..' she stopped and sighed as she hugged her knees to her chest, 'how do you think Thrax would feel if someone killed his girlfriend because of you? .. How would you feel?'

Pocahontas looked at Odette, "Yeah..I am. And it sounds like he has many girls up there, by the sound of it..I wonder if he ever truly loved someone." Her eyes looked down, listening to Odette's words. She looked at her, "I will take the blame for killing Ariel..You won't, even if Sinbad does anything to me..It'll be all blamed on me. And If someone ever killed Jasmine..It would break Thrax's heart..I don't know what he would do if...If Jasmine and died..He loves her so much.."

"Enough for him to scream her name when we did it.." She thought, going quiet as Thrax started to enter her mind. Pocahontas grabbed her head as if she was trying to stop thoughts. The tears started to fall once again, "He will never love me as he loves Jasmine..I try so hard..So hard to make myself stop loving him, but no matter what I say or do..It's all a lie..I had to lie to Jasmine and Thrax so many times that I was okay with it all..And..And I'm not.." She wasn't aware that she had said those words out loud, bending over as she started crying..

'I can't let you take all the blame for it .. if I hadn't been so stupid ..' she sighed, it wouldn't help to say the same thing over and over again.

Odette turned back to her, looking her in the eyes for a moment before speaking up again, 'I won't let him do anything to you .. I can't .. you were just looking out for me and ..' she looked down, moving a hand to her stomach. She wasn't sure if she should be grateful for something like this, but it was nice to know that someone cared enough to do something for her, '.. thank you for trying to help .. us ..' she said, gripping her stomach as she tried to smile.

She looked down to see Pocahontas crying, it hurt her to see her like that and even more to know exactly what she was going through.

'I don't think you can ever stop loving someone .. especially someone you gave your whole heart to ..' she reached down and put a hand on her shoulder, 'does he know exactly how you feel?'

Pocahontas looked at Odette, listening to her response to what she said. Though she continued to cry, trying to let all the tears out, "Your welcome Odette, your very welcome.." Her hair covered her face now as she looked down to the floor even more, "If he hurts me though, I'll be sure to stand up for myself..For you, I promise." She looked up when Odette asked her if she told Thrax how she really felt, "No, I haven't..I can't..I can't let him know how much it hurts inside..How much I was hoping for him to be with me..How I hoped that we were going to be perfect for each other..He doesn't know I love him so much that..It hurts..And I could never bring myself to tell him this, it would just make him mad most likely..He..After all he just yelled Jasmine's name when we did it..And then all hell broke loose after that.." The tears slowly were going to stop, but she was going to let them all come out..So she wouldn't have a single tear to shed..

'I think you should, if it hurts now it will only get worse .. you'll only regret it if you keep it to yourself like this .. trust me,' she said with a sad smile, 'if he feels the same way or not, at least you won't have to spend the rest of your life wondering what might have been .. and in this place you never know how long that might be ..'

'He really did that? That's so cruel .. that should make you mad at him, not the other way around,' she said, annoyed that that had happened to her, 'did you two get into a fight because of it?'

Pocahontas looked at her, knowing she was right..She had to tell Thrax, especially if it would hurt her. She lowered her head, "It's going to be hard though, knowing he probably won't feel the same..I just though keeping it in would be better, but now that you put it that way." She sighed, looking at the ceiling once again. Pocahontas looked at Odette, listening to her react, "Yeah, he did and then we got into a fight..I was the one who got really mad, and he kept telling me how I should have stopped him..Yes I should have but, I didn't want to..He knows I care for him and yet he did it anyway..If it was anyone he should have stopped instead of yelling her name!" Her eyes looked at Odette.

'That's unfair, if he at least knew you cared then he shouldn't have lead you on like that,' she said and squeezed her arm reassuringly, 'no one should blame you for not stopping him, especially not if you feel that way about him. You had every right to get mad, he knew exactly who he was sleeping with and that should have never happened.'

Odette stared at her for a moment and smiled, 'for what it's worth, I think he's an idiot if he misses out on someone as amazing as you,' she whispered as she pulled her in for another hug.

Pocahontas couldn't speak now, trying hard to stop crying. Though when Odette pulled her in a huge, she broke down hugging her back, "I missed you so much! It seems no one understands me in this hell hole but you..And when I saw the broadcast of what Ariel did to you...I started breaking and started to do things I would never do!" She was broken, and she was hiding so many emotions..Too much emotions, hugging Odette even more, but softly so she wouldn't hurt you, "I don't want to be separated from you!"

Odette sat in silence, continuing to hold Pocahontas as she spoke.

'I missed you too,' she said, moving her head a little to kiss her lightly on the cheek, 'I understand, if something like that had happened to you I would probably have done the same thing .. though I doubt I would have been as successful ..' she laughed lightly before pulling away and looking at her, 'don't worry, I'm not going anywhere ..' she placed a hand against her cheek and smiled, 'I promise I'll always be here for you ..'

She knew it was a promise she wouldn't be able to keep for long .. not in this place at least, but it was one she planned to hold onto for as long as she could ..

Pocahontas sat there, looking at Odette as she spoke. The tears fell, and she nodded, "I promise to protect you also! I won't let anyone else hurt you!" She sat there, looking at her before she suddenly smiled. The tears were going away, making her laugh at herself for crying, "I'm sorry about crying, I just kept too much stuff in I guess." She smiled, looking down to her costume, "So, I got my costume for Halloween if you didn't see..Kinda had to bandaged it underneath though.." Pocahontas laughed, pointing to the bandage that was showing underneath the costume.
