| Sinbad woke up in the cold stone floor in the basement. He was not tied up or anything, but the heavy drugs made it hard for him to even stand up, let alone fight anyone if they decided to attack him suddenly. John was sitting backwards on a wooden chair right in front of him, facing Sinbad, waiting for him to wake up. When he did he smiled to himself. "Missed me?" he asked sarcastically. He held something in his hands, but it was impossible to see what as it was hidden by the back of the chair. | |

| Sinbad was laying on the cold floor. His head felt dizzy. It was a lot worse than usual. He wasn't quite sure where he was. Then he heard a voice he knew. He looked in the direction of it. "Heh, not really. I could have lived without seeing your ugly face again," he said as he sat up. | |

| He smiled sarcastically, trying not to let the hatred he felt towards Sinbad show, but failing. "I thought you would want to know exactly what you have done..." he said bitterly. He needed someone to blame for his mistakes, and Sinbad worked perfectly. | |

| "What I've done?" he asked a little confused. "Are you talking about that sin-shit you showed us the that folder some time ago?" he said annoyed. "I really don't care about what you think." | |

| "It's not really about what I think Sinbad," he said and grinned a bit, before he remembered exactly why he had brought Sinbad here. He couldn't even smile once he remembered that. "Let's take a walk, shall we? I want to show you my garden." | |

| "Your garden?" he asked as he tried to stand up. He used the wall for support. "Sure why not? Some fresh air wouldn't be so bad," he said as if he didn't really care where they were going. But to be honest he really did miss being outside. It wasn't fun to be locked up for so long. | |

| He walked up to the door and opened it. It hadn't even been locked. "Coming?" he asked, patiently waiting for Sinbad to stumble over to the door. As he raised from the chair, the item in his hand was finally visible. A sharp kitchen knife in case Sinbad ever tried to do anything. | |

| As he stumbled over to the door, he noticed the knife in John's hand. A little laugh crossed his lips. - Is he really that careful? As if I could even do anything in this condition. So the place also had a garden? Would it be just as gold and empty as the rooms? | |

| John walked Sinbad to the garden slowly, making sure Sinbad could keep up. As they walked through the doors the bright new moon was almost blinding in the contrast of the garden dazzled in dark blue. He didn't take in the sight. He didn't like remembering what he had done in the garden last time it was this dark. He kept walking until he found Megara's grave with the simple words engraved on it. | |

| Sinbad did his best to keep up with John. He had to use all his strength and concentration not to fall. He could have used some help, but there was no way in hell that he'd want John's help. Besides he wasn't even sure if John would help him at all. Why would he?
His head got a little lighter as he stepped into the fresh air. It was a strange feeling to be outside again. To feel the subtle wind on his skin. The garden was a lot bigger and prettier than he had thought. He had pictured a garden with nothing but stone on the ground.
As they walked through the garden Sinbad wondered what John was doing. Why did he bring him here? He walked until John stopped. Then he stopped as well. At first he wasn't sure why they stopped. But then he saw it. The grave. He looked at it for a little while. Then he looked at John. "What is this? Why are you showing me this?" he asked confused.

| "She was happy you know..." he said and smiled as he remembered something. Looking at her grave filled him with emotions every time. "She died with a smile on her lips... and I can't help but think some of it was because of you..." He said his words so softly and so low, if anyone had been around, Sinbad would probably have been the only one to hear him. | |

| She? Wait... this was Meg's grave? He looked at the grave again. He fell to his knees. For a long time he just stared at the grave without saying anything. He couldn't sya anything. He could feel the tears run to his eyes. He tried to hold them back. He didn't want to cry in front of him. But then he heard John saying that she was happy. She died with a smile on her face. Maybe partly because of him. A single tear ran down his cheek. He remained silent for a little while longer. "Thank you.... for taking care of her," he said in a low voice, while still facing the grave. It was clear from John's voice that he had really cared about her. | |

| He simply nodded, knowing Sinbad couldn't see him. He was happy for that too, as his eyes started to sting and a tear made it's way down his cheek. "You know... in some ways, I think she saw you as her best friend. You did as much as I ever could.." His voice was low, heartbroken, but honest. He wanted to say more, but was cut off as his voice suddenly broke at the last words he spoke. | |

| Sinbad couldn't help but look at John when he heard he heartbroken voice. The tear on his cheek shined in the moonlight. He had never seen him like this before. As if... he really had feelings. As if he was human. He had always just seen him as this cold, emoty shell who kidnapped and tortured people for fun. Someone without real feelings.
Sinbad wasn't sure what to say. Instead he just turned to the grave again. He read the words on it. The brightest stars shine alone. Sinbad smiled a little. They were quite fitting.

| Jhon had been visiting her grave every day since she died, but it overwhelmed him every time. Death was a horrible thing. People never talk about it, but it is. One second you're here and... the next you disappear. Into an eternity of nothingness. "You loved her didn't you?" he asked Sinbad softly. | |

| Sinbad nodded slightly. In that moment it didn't matter that he talked to John, the Villain. It didn't feel like he was talking to him. It was like he was talking to someone he knew. Someone who understood him. Someone he could trust. "Like I've never loved another person before," he said. He studied the grave for a little while. "And you?" he asked. | |

| He smiled to himself, but didn't answer the question at first. After a while he had calmed himself down enough to answer without his voice breaking. "I still do," he whispered while another tear ran down his cheek. Despite the pain in his empty chest, he still smiled bitter thinking of the good memories they had shared. | |

| He nodded at first, but realized Sinbad couldn't see that. "She did," he said quietly. He was still looking at the grave, and nothing but. "I like coming out here," he said softly. "It's weird but... I don't feel so alone when I'm standing here. By her grave." His voice broke once again at the word grave, even though he tried his best to stay calm. | |

| Sinbad looked at John from the corner of his eye. "Good," he whispered. Then he was silent for a little while. "You meant so much to her. She really loved you." It still hurt him that it was John she had loved. But that he could make her happy in the end, made it better. She deserved to be happy. Then it didn't matter who it was that made her happy. | |

| He started walking towards the door again. "I'm going back," he said. It was unbearable to stand here any longer. "You can stay if you want to. Or you can come with me." | |

| Sinbad stayed in silence for a little while. Then he turned halfway around. He started walking slowly in John's direction. "Uhm...." he started. He wasn't really sure if he should ask. "Will you maybe do the same thing to others? Help them, if they really need it?" | |

| "If they deserved it," he said bluntly and kept walking, not really caring if Sinbad followed him or not, but figured it would be easier that he followed him, since he wouldn't have to go get him in the morning. | |

| If they deserved it? Sinbad wondered what they'd have to do to deserve to get his help. "Well, I was just thinking that Odette could use some help... She was in a really bad condition when I saw her... And she is really not a bad person," he said in a humble, low voice as he continued to follow John. | |

| "Thank you," he whispered as he tried to keep up. So he did have a heart. And not just towards Meg. For some reason Sinbad began to see John in another light. He shook his head lightly, but stopped when he began to feel dizzy again. He shouldn't see him like that. He was the Villain. He had kidnapped and tortured so many people, and still... he was so human. Could that really be true? Or was it all just an act? No, it seemed too real to be fake.
Sinbad stopped when he reached the door. He looked at the garden one last time. Then he faced John. "Is there any chance I could see her? Odette, I mean. Just to see how she's doing."

| Sinbad followed him again. He realized that his head was beginning to clear up. He didn't feel so dizzy anymore. Maybe the fresh air had helped. He wasn't sure. But all it meant was that it was a lot easier to follow John. At the moment he had no intent of trying anything. All those feelings had disappeared when John had showed him Meg's grave and Sinbad had seen another side of him. { OOC: Oh yay } | |
