Dates for The 10 Doors meeting!

Ok, the 10 Doors meeting will be next year in Machester, England.
We will be staying at a hostel. And these are the dates I'm debating on.

August 18th- 25th works best for me, it's before any of my fall semesters start, and gives me nearly a year to put away money for air fare.

Hmm, I really want to go but I live way out in the U.S. and my parents may or may not let me though my dad makes enough I could probably go. I'll start harping on them... XD

I can't go I live in Sweden and don't have the money to travel to England Otherwise i would love to go ^^

Why can't we all live on the same country?! Ugh... I live in the US, and there's no way I can be in England, I don't have the money or the time. Which is really depressing.

Helga, I'm norwegian and Tinna (Sinbad) is danish, so you can still speak swedish to us xD

And Al, I would really have loved having you there, but I understand if you can't go ^^'' I will miss you though!

@John Oh I know... If I didn't have 2 full-time summer jobs plus going to France/Italy/Barcelona this spring, I would MAYBE have the time and money to go there... .AAAGH. I want to figure out a way to make it. How many people do you think will be able to make it?

Everyone else can decide and then i'll try and find out sooner to the time if i can.. its not like i need to book a flight or anything, just parents dont like me going anywhere on my own especially not up and down the country T-T

It's weird. Norwegians can understand norwegian, swedish AND danish, but most danish people can only understand danish and most swedish people can only understand swedish... xD
Oh, and it's fine Helga, it might be fun trying to speak swedish to you xD It's so similar to norwegian, I might slip up and use a lot of norwegian words, but I can try right? xD Or I'll just speak english... xD

I'm going to say the same thing as Dim :33 Except for the parent thing .. well I'll be 21 next year but they still might not let me go which will annoy me >.<
Plus I might be going on holiday around that time next year and even if I'm not I don't know if I'll be able to get there x3 Unless I get off my lazy butt and finally learn to drive or something :3

I'm from the US as well, but I don't really see a problem arising with my going personally (I understand that others won't be able to go xD). I should just get the passport taken care of now, as they seem to take forever. I'm working, so it's in the realm of possibilty to pay for it. I'll be 19 by then, my parents are letting my brother go to Washington DC without them (on a school trip for a few days. xD), I don't see why I couldn't go to England if I pay my own way, and I'm a legal adult anyway.

I'm only 16 so I probably won't be ale to go unless my parents go with me xD which I don't think will happen, but my mother and I were planning on visiting England next summer so maybe I could talk her into it

Can't go, might be getting married then XD Aaaaand no money means no go lol. Sorry, it sounds fun, but I couldn't make it unless I was rich. :/ I hope all who go have fun and stay safe! Keep us who can't go posted on the fun! 8D <33

The Twins are going! Well I am pretty sure anyway Its been my dream to go to England and France and this would be perfect!

@Thrax Well I live up north just south of the border of MN/ND and Canada XD Soo probably not the best hang out spot. Then again, I can't travel too far either. But if we could make it work for those of us who can't travel all the way to England, that would be great!

I am soo down for that, if I can't do England I'll definitely do a US version!!

And if we manage to organize an England AND a US 10 Doors reunion/party, we would have sooo many stories to tell each other! Soo much fun! <3

I really don't know if I can come... My Mom is really strict, and she didn't like the fact that I rping with unknows people... So, joins them in a hostels... I really don't know, but I'll try promise!

Yeah, that's a definite possibility for me as well... Too busy, and even though I'm an adult (19), I can't travel far on my own because of my epilepsy. I'm not supposed to drive long distances in case anything happens to me. And I don't have the money to fly somewhere. Ugh, stupid life getting in the way, haha.

I agree with you. Again, although I'm an adult, and she knows that I'm friends with online people that I'm in a RP with/edit with, I don't think she'd be thrilled us all staying in a hotel together.

Question... What is a hostel? A lot of you keep using that word. Is it like a hotel or what?

@Wendy Not really, it cost money though XP You could look up where to get yours in your town. I got mine at a Post Office XD
