TTW with Room 1 [Snow White and Dimitri]

Snow White was speechless, "Oh Dimitri I'm sorry." She said sadly, she was curious to know what the suitcase had contained but she didn't ask. "You thought the key could lead to an escape, if I had been in your place I might have done the same thing." She said after a pause. She wasn't sure if she would have been able to keep it though if Shang or Poca or any of her friends were being tortured.

'You know thats only the tip of the iceburg in here' he said. 'You may think I'm just being hard on myself, but really theres a lot of people in here that have got hurt because of me...'

She looked down and interlaced her fingers loosely, "You mean besides Charlotte?" She asked quietly.

'Yeah...' he muttered, thinking back.

Snow White stayed quiet as she didn't want to say anything else that might offend him.

'Don't worry.. Its just kind of inevitable in here..' he sighed. 'I never meant to hurt anyone if it counts' he added.

She smiled sadly, "I believe you, besides you didn't ask to get brought here." She said quietly

'Hmm..' he said, in non-commital agreement.
He didn't mention that he was certain he had hurt people before he was in here, Charlotte included.

She bit her lip, I always seem to be offending him she thought as she stayed quiet.

'Snow..' he said, trying to think how to pose the question. Instead he just asked it.. 'how do you know about the key?'

Snow White sighed, "One of my friends Cinderella told me when she was inside the Villain's room, she was curious to know if I knew anything about it. That key, what did it lead too?" She asked

'Oh yeah.. I've met her' he added. 'Uh well just a suitcase... thats what it opened' he said, 'although there wasn't much in there that was of any use.'
He tried to avoid everything personal about the villain. He wasn't sure if he should let Snow know about the other room he had found. He was sure that would just upset her, so he kept quiet.
'Like i said.. it was a waste of time keeping it safe..'

Snow White wondered what had been inside the suitcase but didn't ask Dimitri, "Well it wasn't like you knew what it would open, I'm sorry it didn't lead to any escapes though." She said quietly.

'Thanks.. I guess' he said. 'So how has it been in here for you? Anything happen to you?'

She bit her lip, "Well I met someone in here and he...he means everything to me. I know it sounds sappy but I really do love him, he makes me want to keep on living." She said quietly as she thought of Shang. She wished she could see him again and feel his safe embrace.

'Oh, well, I'm happy for you' he said.
Even if he had a much more pessimistic attitude on the situation it did not mean he couldn't wish her well. For, if he had looked back a few months ago himself had he not shared the same hope of escaping, and living a new life? Admitidly who that would have been with would have been alot more complicated than Snow's decision but regardless, he could still hope the best for her.
'Would I know them?' he asked out of curiousity.

Snow White bit her lip, "I don't know, he recently got here about two months ago. His name is Shang and he...he deserves better." She added in a lower tone

'I've never met him before..' he replied. 'But I hope hes safe for your sake..'

Snow White forced a smile on her face as she tried not to picture Shang hurt, "Thank you, and I hope so too. Besides that, my life is pretty much as normal as you can get when you're trapped in a place like this." She said attempting to be humorous and failing.

'Hmm I suppose so' he smiled back. 'In a sad sort of way I'm kind of getting used to it.. like I've forgotten really what its like out of here. Guess I'll be a clueless mess if I actually have to cook for myself again' he joked, 'what with the room service in here I'm used to.' He failed to mention the fact that he already was a hopeless mess when it came to cooking- if something was microwaveable he could manage... microwave dinners and toast being his rare specialities.

She bit her lip, "Hey if we ever get out of here I'll teach you how to cook, it can be fun even if I'm not that good at cooking either." She admitted with a small laugh. She had been taught how to cook from one her father's cooks and even if she wasn't a natural she knew how to follow a reicipe.

'If you've produced anything that isn't burnt than you are better than me' he said. 'But... if anything ends up exploding don't blame me!'

She laughed, "Exploding food? I'm sure you not that bad." She said as she started laughing again.

'Think more exploding kitchens... trust me things can explode in the oven if you want them to. At least they've done that a few times with me..' he said, smiling.

She was glad to hear him sound more carefree, she had a feeling that he hadn't been that carefree in awhile. "I'll have to see it to believe it, exactly what were you making when they exploded?" She asked.

'Uh... pie things?' he replied, unsure really himself. 'They didn't really resemble food afterwards. I didn't poke the pastry with any holes... I don't know why, apparently you need to do that, so the air rose and build up and um.. exploded.' He laughed. 'And then burnt... so I just was left with this burnt, exploded mess of a meal... I ordered a pizza that night.'

She giggled, "Wow, well at least you had pizza afterwards. I kinda wish I had seen the pie to be honest." She said as she laughed.

'Hmm... my oven didnt' appreciate it. But yeah.. takeaways are kind of my forte' he smiled. 'What about you then? Anything you are particularly bad at?'

She bit her lip, "Well I am really bad at singing, I kinda sound like a donkey braying and I'm not kidding." She said as she giggled.

'Uh..' He thought back to when he last sung. 'I sing when I'm drunk or alone,' he laughed, 'and its probably best it stays that way. Anything else? What about your talents? Good at cooking, bad at singing... must be more' he pried, glad the conversation was off onto to something much less personal.

She smiled as she thought about it, "Uh well I'm good at stealing and I'm pretty good at dancing but don't quote me on that. I also like to draw when I can and uhm I know how to fight." She said with a grimace as she remembered her training.

'That will probably come in handy here though' he said. 'And drawing is nice... known a few people in here who have said that. One girl found crayons and used them to draw on the walls.. Plus there was a Dinner Party once and I'm pretty sure someone had to dance then... so you seem to be set for the future!' he added.

She smiled when he said that, "Well, we'll see huh? What about you, what are some things you're good at?" She asked curiously.

He tried to think back to what he could say, but in reality all he could think of were things he was bad at... He just guessed he was so used to picking up on his faults.
What did people tell him? That he was good at helping people... but that was no good, when all he could see was a long list of evidence that proved the opposite.
'Uh.. I don't know' he laughed.
